Girl gave up and bare her brother sexual assault/r*pe. Even had outdoor sex with her brother while the other guy (black haired) watched (she came across them. She knew he was watching but went along with it. I guess because she's an orphan she feel indebted to her adoptive family. Reason why she helped a lot babysitting her stepbrothers (twins) and doing housework. Thus reason why she didn't tell them she was getting r*ped by her stepbro. Since she feared she would cause them trouble and she is an outsider in the family so chances are they won't believe her too since the brother is also a good and gentle man guy in the parents, everyone (neighbors, classmate...) eyes.Black haired guy kept trying to reach MC after he witnessed the r*pe during the festival and in the beach/cliff. Mc warns up to him and they officially become a thing. Meanwhile the brother rejects the girl (black haired twintail) he was dating but also he's going through some sort of paranoia which escalate when he saw mc and black haired guy comes home together. He got possessive screaming stuff and hug the girl. That's when their mother and her friends/neigboor come and saw/heard them. Ashamed and embarrassed he runs off. Meanwhile the girl got stressed/collapsed blood between her legs. They get her to the doctor.
Later it is revealed that when they were kids there was an accident during a storm where mc got lost or something and her brother had been the one to be at her side, save her and see how badly she got hurt. We can assume that's when he's protective tendency emerged. The "I have to protect her", "only I" to "she's mine".... Anyway the brother felt so ashamed and by finding out the girl now belong to another even when they been together kinda gave him a mental breakdown. He run off to a cliff (same one where they have sex) and jumped in. While dyng he recalls memories of when they were kids and he used to take care of her. So I guess the author wanted to make a regret his actions...?
Meanwhile at the doctor they found the girl is pregnant and didn't lost her child when she collapsed! The parents are shocked. By seeing the brother hugging her/fighting her bf (black haired) and how he committed suicide they quickly realize the brother is the father. Also the neighborhood saw them so the word she's pregnant with her brother's kid spread like wildfire. The protagonist even heard the mother regret taking her in their family (note she lost her son so she's pissed and also discovered her son's a r*pist and prob having a hard time accepting it). Feeling horrible she decided to kill herself by going in the ocean. The black haired guy stopped her.

Yuck. Reading the comments and find out that this author ALSO making hentai manga with incest and loli? That's really horrible, hypocrite and disgusting. Yeah, i understand people seek that kind of entertainment and paying for them. It's legal somewhere. To think someone happily making a living with porn about that vile themes is ridiculous. You earn money from that disgusting hentai, the one perverts read and they also potentially can be a rapist and pedophiles. Then, you make some tragedy manga about rape victims? Really? I don't understand how they (author) mind works and their morale compass.
P.S. I also knew that even women can be hentai creator. The kind that you know, f**ked off. Either they're truly pervert and deranged, or they never got the chance to making "normal" works.
Sorry, i'm so emotional. It's been a tiring weeks with countless mindblown rape/sexual crimes cases that happening everywhere. Also realising that pedophiles and rapist enablers exists in our society and their numbers is huge. Nobody is safe. Even in their own house. Everyone only focusing on India, but the statistics of the sexual related crimes that been REPORTED in their own countries actually is just the same. It's too horrible. .
Something that you said "just a fiction" could be happening in real life to someone else and even yourself. Just don't normalize deranged things okay? Rape. Never. Don't enjoy them. Don't make them (horrible person) felt invisible and indestructible.

Everyone is so shallow and hypocritical especially the crown prince. Because now the FL is acting smarter instead of acting on her feelings of unfairness and loneliness, the ML is in love? Bruh. Saying things like "she used to dress so extravagently but now she has changed"? How shallow. He just judges her on her appearance like everyone else. Also he acts like he IS aware that the sister is a bitch to FL, but what matters to him is that FL reacts in a way that's more coniving than the sister. So why act like FL is a fox for dressing up? Man this is garbage. Good manwhas with good characters are getting rare these days2025-09-16 18:47 marked

Now I know I might get some pushback but please reply because I really want to get some other opinions on this topic. First of all, I really think the author did a wonderful job showing how MINCHEOL NEVER GREW UP. We see Mincheol wants (to own) Haesoo, to the point of seeing his own friend as a threat to his relationship with her. And he’s happy when she shows “jealousy”—but what he fails to realize is that Haesoo is afraid of losing her only savior. She’s emotionally and physically dependent on him, so she’s scared that college will change him. Mincheol is arrogant in thinking that he can solve Haesoo’s problems because he loves her and is the only one who can forge a happy future for themselves. Yes, he’s naive and in puppy-love mode, but the deeper sentiment is that he thinks he can control everything about Haesoo and her circumstances. It is totally a pride thing. And EVEN NOW, he thinks that Haesoo WOULDN’T DARE to leave him. Mincheol started naive and prideful then, and he’s still naive and prideful in the present!Money and circumstances were a problem yes but I don't think they were a driving force. It might be a good excuse but, I don't believe he EVER loved or cherish her. Sure he liked her but I think he just wanted to be a hero. He has admitted that she was pretty so he choose her, you could say he wanted to be the superman to her Lois Lane. Even now, in his own way he cares for her but, he will never put Haesoo before his own needs or feelings.
Notice what the teacher said? Arrogant men like him, when faced with the real world/problems they get crushed. That's exactly what happened, instead of taking accountability for his life. He sulks, and wallows in self pity, and blames everyone else for his misfortune. Even if he didn't use his tuition money to run away, he still would've, somehow found a way to blame Haaesoo, if his life wasn't going to the way he envisioned. The same with the cheating. Had an opportunity presented itself earlier, best believe he would have taken it too. It's not his circumstances, poverty, that "changed him. It's literally just him. Given the environment he was raised in it makes sense how he grew to crave control and I think no matter what life he ended up choosing it was always destined to end this way. With or without money. The saying goes "money doesn't change people, it exposes them , for who they truly were to begin with". Thank you for coming to my ted talk!

Everybody in the comments keeps being frustrated about the fact that it's unclear wether Lily loves Hana or not and that Lily keeps being hung up about KaoruEven though Hana is just as hung up on Kaoru. The point of the story is that both of them are hung up about Kaoru in their own way. Hana laments the fact that she never actually took the time to know her brother as well as believing that that was a reason contributing to his death, feeling immense guilt because of it. While Lily pretends that Hana is Kaoru to keep on living a delusion and not having to confront the reality of his death.
And in the end they both find solace in grieving together for the person they had loved. And they also realize the geniune happiness they were able to find with each other after his death, deciding to run away together.
I'd like to point out that when Lily said that a particular thing that Hana did reminded her of Kaoru, it was much more to say that it is a quality she loves thus also loving it about Hana. She might not love her as much as Kaoru yet but I believe she will love her just as much if not even more than him. I wish there was a follow up to this story to explore this but alas...
This manga is actually amazing and has some deeply realistic emotional writing, I could analyze it for days aaa
God I love this manga so much.

I actually like that the backstory shows how great he was when he was younger. It’s realistic. Men become trash regardless of how well they treated you in the beginning. It also shows that he can’t let her go. He has an inferiority complex cause deep down he knows he was never able to really provide for her the way he wanted to. In the end he projected those feelings onto her to make it seem like it’s her fault when in reality he became a shitty “husband.”2025-09-12 20:15 marked

Of course people will feel bad for him now. I love how people, especially women, are too easy to forgive or give excuses for men after they share how traumatic their past was. I say this because when u have a female antagonist who also had a sad past or whatever, people are never this quick to switch up if ever.Everyone goes through stuff, but once you mistreat people and betrays them, that is on YOU and not on your PAST.
Stop being so easy on these men.

after all the same plot arcs the author finally allowed uka to feel her feelings... I hate everytime they just go well it's actually YOUR fault for doubting anything mmhmm and she goes omg yes my bad and she is all like smiley and shit and acts nonchalant in the worst way and then Kai shows up doing less than bare minimum and we are to go YAYYY! for the first time this one dimensional ass rival comes in tries to act like I'm above shit and then gets humbled instead of being added into the friends group and Kai realizes uka has feelings ffs. like if she fully dumped him for a while I would've been happier than I was for the short break. but it was needed, we know kai loves her and sees only her in his future he has come to imagine a stable future for himself only because uka has been such a support system for him, but he really needs to act like it. the nonchalant cool boy shit can only do you good when you actually don't care about the situation or people if so much is at stake maybe you should act like it. and also if someone tells me it's not that deep I say kindly stfu, use your critical thinking see more in art. art and storytelling has always been about provoking deep emotions whether it's the artist's intention or not.2025-09-10 18:30 marked
