Even after she fought the first guy so well? It's disappointing that even in this generation, a fantasy novel uses the concept of equality at certain places to promote the story to us, a progressive set of readers and audience, and yet makes such silly mistakes as promoting chivalry when it's so outdated and terribly unneeded. Weak! Sheesh.
And that blond guy...? She has years of experience and yet, she can't reject a man firmly and put him in his place? The character of this woman is not well done. I don't mind weak-willed women but when you're projecting a certain idea, that of her being an independent and strong woman, then creating such silly scenes that show how pathetic and weak-willed she is, it spoils the whole story.

All the negative roles arose from the terrible societal conditions. Class discrimination influenced Lousie to do what she did and gender discrimination made the countess do what she did.
I love that this manga made sure to constantly highlight that even the bad guys have their story. They're actions are not being justified but their situations are being highlighted, and that is so important.
True. It's uploaded in another language. Let us ask the uploader to not do it but to insult another language and its script is pretty unexpected of a community that I truly admired. I thought we were all friends who believed in equality. To read such rude comments calling the script 'noodles' was unexpected and truly disappointing.
