if anyone thought this was going to have a happy ending idk what to tell you. i do think it was a weird way to end it but they were NOT going to end up together. if anything i hoped dohyeok would grow as a person after their “situationship” but because of the way it ended theres no way. hes even more delusional now. siwoo didnt like doheyok throughout their entire exchange so of course he wants to move on but doheyok is one interesting mf and doesnt know how to deal with his emotions so seeing that(him kissing that guy) probably gave him another loose screw in the head.
doheyok does not necessarily deserve a happy ending, hes a god awful person and that was the sole purpose of creating the side stories. hes also very dimensional so we see different sides of him, which is why we all hoped for at least SOMETHING to come out of this but really we got nothing. This honestly just gave more reasons for doheyok to be an even shittier person. idk what the creators intention was.

I believe Siwoo had some feelings which is why he kept coming back to him and willingly went to find him several times (before Dohyeok tried to mess with his family legitimately). From the main story, Siwoo's issue is that he gets into relationships without loving his partners and so they dump him quickly because they can feel he's not into it (and he doesn't care about getting dumped either). But he never cares, yet when Dohyeok confessed, he got angry and asks Dohyeok why he's playing with his feelings like that.
Else the rest I fully agree with you. I never defend Dohyeok, he's shit, but that's what made the whole story interesting. Yet we have an ending where he got gangraped and has PTSD but nothing is gonna be done about it, he doesn't figure out anything from the experience and has no regret for what he did to Jiwoon and Suha still.
siwoo definitely acted different with dohyeok for sure. he wouldnt act that way with other partners. i never understood his intentions all the way. thanks for sharing your thoughts !! :)
