Reading the spoilers there's just no excuse, they had some idea the twins were having a bad time and mom is a heartless witch and still left them there. Just had to see some scars to feel some guilt? Saying in some form that you had 'no idea it'd be this bad' makes me furious sksksksks you left them and that's it

Maybe it's coz I've been reading a lot if palace drama / historical courtyard politics, I don't really hate princess consort. I mean I don't like her, sure, but at the end of the day women / male concubines are always the one on the losing end. Makes me ambivalent about the couple themselves, but it's entertaining and nice to read. I also read this coz I've been wanting to read a story about an MC with a disability, the last one I read similar to this was too depressing...

Tbh I was bewildered at first because the first few chapters was a whirlwind and the seme was such a mystery and in my head it was like 'wth is this guy's motive?' lmao.
