Sometimes i wonder if someone could really completely lose their marbles like this from lack of sleep, resorting to yandere imprisoning. But eh, i understand he's probably going through the worst breakup ever with PTSD on the side /s
...the yandere stuff idk. But hallucinations r common. Ive seen studies that said driving sleep deprived is more dangerous than drinking and driving. The older you are and the less sleep you get a night can have permanent damage to your brain. There's a man who did so for a week and was never able to recuperate. It was for a radio station back when they were all the rage and very little research was done in the field. Died a short time after despite being perfectly healthy before. So yes. Sleep is crucial to being healthy. It's how ur brain catalogs all the things it's done and even asleep your brain is working as if it's awake.
Therefore to anyone reading this, Get some nice quality sleep whenever you can and don't underestimate naps.
Yep everything the person above said and add Leshak’s personality to it. Leshak is very possessive of Radan. He wants to be Radan’s everything. The shackles are there to not lose him the second time and because he’s the cryptic assassin of the enemy country.
I’ve had sleep deprivation induced visual and auditory hallucinations. They aren’t extreme as you might think as in solidified figures in front of you, but they are extremely terrifying and disorienting, nonetheless. They wreak havoc on your nervous system and essentially put you in fight or flight mode, but your instincts are shot to hell and you can barely function. Not fun. If he’s experiencing anything like that, he’s just desperate for the relief that can only happen from knowing Radan is safe with him. Even if that safety comes at a messed up price…

I love everyone's serious input on the subject! Sharing an experience as a cautionary tale, I did have a similar experience as tyodreams, though probably not as extreme. Had no sleep for 3-4 days and experienced visual and auditory hallucinations. The experience of that would be closer to dreaming, sleeping while you're awake. Not quite schizophrenic level, but at the time I did ponder how it felt like i experienced something close. Hearing close to real voices while going about your day, or seeing things (dreams) midway conversation is kinda crazy. Functioning while you're like that actually feels delirious. 4 days is close to a week, and I half dreadfully (and jokingly) warn to not drive trucks in this state. If it wasn't obvious enough. Though i do still wonder if Radan's prolonged insomnia has affected behavior and personality
I just checked a random page and roughly skimmed a bit. I thought the top sounded so greasy lol, like a greasy old man, and checking the comments I'm not dissapointed he was an actual grooming ML
Man i feel so gaslit, this top has me questioning my thoughts bad like no way that you have THIS much trauma and you're not insane??? dude got me questioning reality so much happy that I'm backed by some people who felt the same like was lowkey a little triggering but it was hot and cute so
The summary already hooked me with such an interesting premise (bro did a side quest and changed his life theme lmao) and the story did not dissapoint--it's so good!!!

Well, lack of sleep affects your reasoning, so it's possible. Tho imprisonment is still too much... ╥﹏╥
