I think what really draws out someone to a story is the complexity and depth of a character and how well that translates to an audience. Plot is important and all but the human aspect of contradiction and emotion is what makes it alive. Chiyoko's version is a fresh interpretation, but it stops at novelty at best. The way I see it they went with a 'girl with a thousand masks', but they didn't actually explore the ironically 'human' aspect that draws the audience like Kei did. Kei's version was divine yet also human at the same time. Her princess fan was unreal yet grounded; terrifying, charming, strong, and weak all at the same time. All the other characters were also complex, subverting good and bad and that's what makes it interesting. The impression I got with the second team however had been polished, so much that the characters seemed like an animation and not people I could empathise with. Like folktales. Which may be to other people's tastes, but most people probably won't be like. If the second team actually showed some emotional development on the second half of the play it may put some meat to their performance.

To give context to everyone who slapped the hand that fed them, the reason you are even able to enjoy all these comics and stories you read is because of the authors who make them. Not just this one, BUT EVERY STORY YOU'VE EVER READ IN THIS SITE. They're the people who give you your bread and butter, who continue to create stories that you fangirl or fanboy about. Don't justify yourselves that you are the customers and illegal shit is normal because the author has never made the comics for you. Because you never paid for the food you eat.
A leech is a leech. Don't be so entitled. The least we can do as leeches is respect them and their wishes when they tell us to stop. Do so. Or maybe just shut up, leeches have no right to complain.

lmao if you have so much respect for the authors to the point where YOU feel feel ENTITLED to lecture us "leeches" then WHY THE fuck do you have an account here? why the fuck do you notifications on for this manhwa? also any thoughts on the 500+ authors you've read their works illegally? pfft what a useless comment you've left. we don't slap the hand "that de us" i.e. THE UPLOADER because we are grateful we can read this here. You don't want to read the update - ok cool your choice but also get out and let us enjoy this.

What was the point of your comment? Are you daft? The fact is, people have the AUDACITY to tell the author to her face that she should be grateful that her comic is actually being spread around and she gets money from the "advertisement" (which is a load of bs) and that her comic is not worth the read, insinuating that what she does is for "fun" when she needs it to eat her meals. I'm a leech but I would NEVER DO THAT. THAT IS FUCKING INSANE AND UNGRATEFUL. The author has already said to stop so respect that. You sound like the entitled one awfully butthurt about it. Not to mention I buy Pian Pian legally in lezhin, I have it in my notif because I use mangago a lot and I read the comments here so stfu.

Its cool to see DID being portrayed in a story, it makes me feel like stories are making characters diverse by portraying something that exists in reality and not just adding in a multiple personalities trope as a 'spice' to storytelling. How they present DID could need some work (like the little nuances how switches happen, or maybe we get to know about kazuha's childhood) but I'm pretty happy already that a character like this appears.

Overall I like the whole concept and the MC but its such a dissapointment that you use a rule that was just added and apply it to previous owners. He ended ownership before the rule was added... Makes the ending unfulfilling? Because it was mindgames and smarts and then you lose coz of a troll. It was good though, I like minoru as a character.
I kinda predicted that mirko was going to say that, coz I did notice that ryuu's plays and current preferences have lately been passing the ball as soon as possible. I mean that's what one touch football is, but he seems to be focusing on it too much? He probably has a shadow about the fact that he's lost his ball sense and isn't like what he used to be, and it takes a long time to build that back up. Kinda excited that maybe after contemplating he'd work on it!
Yep yep.. I thought so too.. It's almost like he has forgotten how he used to play.. He used to challenge players and went for the goal.. I have seen some raws, he does try to get better.. And as you would expect, better he becomes..
Slr. I think it's a given, just like what mirko previously said: he got an injury at the critical period. I imagine that he must feel like he's been thrust in somebody else's body... His limbs don't move like he imagined they would. Where'd you see the raws BTW? I'm really excited when for the day he improves on his dribbling and does more challenges!

The raws are sooo ahead I can't wait to read them all translated.. So excited! (≧∀≦)
Thanks so much for the raws!! So excited too and its so cool the releases are daily recently. We can do this (๑•ㅂ•)و✧
