I actually liked how the parent situation played out - very realistic. A lot of people think they're "open-minded"...until it comes to a family member or friend. Most parents would need some time to process. And seeing K+K's relationship get stronger is so sweet <3

Why did they just immediately start taking off his pants as if that's just the done thing when someone is drugged? I was actually enjoying this story but that plot device is just so cliche it took me out

Their relationship is sweet but toxic at the same time. Tamaki is legit traumatized...the sexual assault (or fear of it) from his mother is horrific & understandably has affected him. Shi is well-intentioned but so many wrong moves to someone w/Tamaki's trauma. (tho I appreciate that he tried to get an adult involved bc the mother situation is serious)
Also Takumi is scum. I get Shi lied, but going w/a highschooler in the 1st place was gross. Then to not verify his age? The author is trying to make him likable but...no thanks
I know this is an older work, but I just can't get past the blatant rape. Someone doesn't just "get over" being raped bc the other person is sorry or falls in love...it was a gross concept in 2016 (even as a common trope) & it's even worse now imo

The start was rough (the seme's blackmail/rape & then 180 into a simp basically lol) & the mix of very serious plot w/sudden comedy & then sweet romance. I really don't like the art but I couldn't stop reading (tho the kitty was adorable)
