just weird. the author seems to be going out of their way to make the ml into a rapist/bad dom after explicitly giving the mc bdsm-related trauma.

i loved the main story but i just cant get behind this
i hope i don’t bother you but i really don’t want to read it all to figure it out. what’s the boss’s story about?
its a LOT but it boils down to the boss actively wanting to kill the guy that he ends up with and they just go with it? and call it its own form of love? its super toxic in the "this is actually dangerous and super poorly excused" way
was reading it on and off and from my memory its a very tragic story that explores an undeniably toxic couple. dajeong is super insecure and lonely after his mom died and boss is super toxic and was more into seeing how far he could hurt and punish dajeong than actually loving him. after everything built up and exploded boss attempted suicide and survived but thats after he realized he pushed dajeong too far and he will actually leave him(boss) even tho hes so insecure and has tolerated so much. Afterwards there’s no redemption just that after boss begs dajeong to come back and live w him again, dajeong does and they end the story being together but not really dating just still in this toxic relationship. the only growth boss had is that hes showing a tiny bit more restraint and didnt try to full on kill dajeong again

god finally caught up on the chapters i missed lately and smth that just gets me with this is how woori looks at danwoo, like he craves him and like hes the most perfect thing ever. i never remember taehan looking at danwoo like that at all, not even during sex.
all i want is for woori to be endgame SO bad. danwoo deserves someone who looks at him like he is everything in the world.

the thing that bothers me the most abt this is how in the story multiple characters have said smth along the lines of "oh but the ml wouldnt rape someone" but he has
first encounter with mc where mc was drunk? rape
inserting the sounding device without talking to mc? rape
not stopping when mc says stop? rape (unless previously agreed upon a safe word instead, but mc and ml have never done that)
like it irks me bc the author doesnt even seem to know what rape is and that is dangerous for victims who see this, and then are like "that happened to me but no one is saying its rape so i guess it isnt" and then they cant properly process what happened to them bc ppl refuse to even admit what this is which is, in fact, rape
sorry i just cant stand these stories where the mc is a full blown rapist but everyone acts like he doesnt do anything "too" wrong and is "just an asshole" bc they always eventually get their "redemption" without ever having to recognize they raped someone.

This ENTIRE story is rape and grooming. Literally what happens to rape victims none of what the MC is doing with the ML was ever on his mind before and the ML is grooming him into his preferences. This is by far one of the most uncomfortable manhua’s to read because it’s not like other stories were the rape scenes are so ridiculous and far fetched…. You take out the Omegaverse and this becomes all too realistic.
On a side note I like the best friend everyone has their own opinions on what should and shouldn’t be discussed between friends. All I know if if I knew my friend had feelings for me- I would never keep them in the dark and allow for more misunderstanding to happen
