i really like how this story focuses on the part of this "isekai" plot that others ignore: when you actually want to go back so I'm really looking forward to more chapters!!! ~
older anime that have isekai elements would focus on this aspect pretty frequently. the newer isekai stories are the ones that have MCs who prefer to live in the new world.
some examples are Fushigi Yuugi, Escaflowne, Haruka: Beyond the Stream of Time – A Tale of the Eight Guardians, Arata Kangatari (maybe), El Hazard (maybe), Maze: The Mega-Burst Space (maybe)
a few of those got a similar vibe but i can't remember some stuff and a couple of those i haven't really watched in it's entirety but i do know there is a big difference with old school isekai and the newer stuff we get nowadays.
