I’m going to be honest but the plot kinda confused me? I really like the story but I just didn’t really understand the human and his conflict and thought process? He seemed to hate life but then got upset at Demi being a king and then I was confused bc why did Demi send so many demons out and then cheer on Adam for killing them all? What exactly was Adam not able to ever forgive him about? The whole conflict era confused me tbh >.<
It was cute ig? The bottoms trope wasn’t my favorite, he seemed slightly infantile and it pissed me off to read at times tbh and the random SA scene made zero sense? Like it was pretty out of character for the top to me especially with how he treated the bottom before it happened and after it was just weird to me? He’s an understanding and patient guy the whole like time and then a switch just went off and the bottom decided that ig he liked it halfway? The entire scene was random and confusing to me lol

Besides the relationship literally being “yeah so I blackmailed and basically assaulted this guy” and the top being absolutely a shitty ass person the story and other characters are kinda bad too. Like there is literally a moment where one of the girls asks the bottom if he is getting manipulated and abused and instead of him responding he just responds “yes” in his mind? Like what was the point of that scene? we’ve seen it happening for like five chapters now, can the bottom please be able to fucking stand up for himself and instead of everyone playing into the abuse like actually talk to him like it just seems there’s no depth to anything, the romance feels forced and like not there bc the only scenes we get is sex or the top being a shitty person, where are any of the domestic scenes the bottom constantly talks about? The characters have almost zero depth to them it feels and the sex is uncomfortable lowkey bc all the bottom says is “no” or “don’t” or “stop” which doesn’t sound like he’s enjoying it

I read the comments and I still decided to waste a hour of my life putting myself through that T^T like the story maybe could have been a good one, a absolute abusive and shitty person realizing they are and trying to fix themselves can happen yes! The second couple could have been hot if the author didn’t keep changing the size of the top to the point where he some shots just straight up looked like a child bros height was different in almost every scene and it was uncomfortable to read. Size difference can be a pretty hard thing to draw at times especially when it comes to angles so it’s understandable that his size just kept changing but the way he looked like a child was not it, I’ve read some bls with the same height difference and the authors never really had issues with making the shorter person look like a adult but still kept them with that “cute” aesthetic but this one looked too much like a child for me
