Art and writing is pretty stiff, though art improved a bit in second season. I'm not sure if writing is due to translation but it was soooo slow burn in beginning and then suddenly they're all over each other. Also disappointed in the use of SA as plot device and magically turning a Beta into an omega.

One of the few stories I've read where the attempted SA and the PTSD aftermath isn't minimized by the author. It took awhile for Chinwoo to untangle himself from his trauma bond but when he finally did, laying out exactly what he went through/ how he felt and finally forcing accountability (but not forgiveness thank God) it was very well done.

One of those webtoons where everything gets thrown at MC (traumatic home life, persecuted at work plus sexual harrassment/ assault in between) and it's supposed to replace character/plot development. And Seo just takes it. Kwon knows how much he's suffering but buys useless shit (like the painting) and adds to said suffering instead of lessening it (like after the SA). There are serial killer yanderes that treat their victims better.

It might be the translation but the dialogue felt so opaque to me. I don't mind a slow burn but these two were too much in their heads the whole time, so it felt more like a philosophical exploration of love rather than a love story. It's a pity because they're both wildly attractive and the kissing scenes were quite good.
Man I thought it was gonna be some sort of fluffy romance with fluffy bofies/ leads and it just took a U turn into NTR/ SA land. Sometimes I think ppl get into writing these stories just so they can write about gratuitous grape.
