Author spent the first bunch of chapters establishing that Jae is a badass gangster but he's kinda terrible at it? He does nothing about the spy in his gang, and both leads keep wandering into dangerous situations without back-up and can barely fight back. Their enemies to lovers romance was quite nice and author was generous with side stories of their HEA and baby.

Other couple seemed way more interesting and had more chemistry but author would cut away whenever it got interesting. I do like the cuteness of main couple though story felt like a speedrun in terms of pacing. Top notch art style, a good mix between fluidity and clean lines. Also a rare story without someone tryna grape somebody like it's as normal as breathing.

Every time an omegaverse story looks promising, it turns it's written by a rape apologist. So dude sets up his omega bestie to be SA'd so he can 'save the day' but instead, u can guess what happens. And bestie FORGIVES him because he's not as entitled as the other Alphas. Trash stories like these is why the bar is so low IRL. The story's message is 'Alphas gonna alpha but it's okay because he loves you.' Miss me with that noise.

Art and writing is pretty stiff, though art improved a bit in second season. I'm not sure if writing is due to translation but it was soooo slow burn in beginning and then suddenly they're all over each other. Also disappointed in the use of SA as plot device and magically turning a Beta into an omega.

One of the few stories I've read where the attempted SA and the PTSD aftermath isn't minimized by the author. It took awhile for Chinwoo to untangle himself from his trauma bond but when he finally did, laying out exactly what he went through/ how he felt and finally forcing accountability (but not forgiveness thank God) it was very well done.
Wow that Karen complained about stuff in the hot spring, MC tried to help her, she realized she was wrong called him and ML up to her room to say that then scolded MC again for not knowing? So ML had to apologize? wtf.
