I agree. quite confusing at first. but it will clear up once you've read the other story (misaki & arikawa). The misaki's professor is the one that stayed single.
I skipped the dialog like it was plague. I couldn't read except the final lines cause it's too heartbreaking for me. My heart hurts and I know hosoo is trying to do the 'right thing' here but this way he's going to cause pain for the both of them. I understand hosoo tho because I somewhat empathise with him even if the way he's doing this is plain stupid.
