From what I’m seeing She has a poverty mentality- she’s happy just to have enough so indulgence is unsightly for her but she keeps dating extravagant men who want more or have more. They’re a caricature of what she can’t possess so that’s why she doesn’t mind being the fool for them. Just enough is enough.
She will continue to be a doormat because she was developed with that mindset during her developmental moments. I assume she “stands up” for herself eventually but in the end will compromise because being upset and standing up for herself once is just enough. She was written a victim and she continued to be one even willingly because it is all she knows.

Lied and said he wanted to take photography lessons simply to manipulate him. Was drawing portraits of Derek even during a conversation, literally ONLY wanted Felix because he was Derek in his past life. Did you honestly think this man was normal? He would literally whisper and call him Derek when Felix went to sleep, even the position they slept in was because Derek held him like that.

I think it’s because her husband is much older, so it’s more of a pity thing than an accepted thing. The reason that they can’t be together in public, is because she’s married and it would look bad, so accepted isn’t the right term.
But I think because she’s so young and married to a much older man for familial security, there’s some level of pity and understanding from the court. There’s also the aspect of the ‘crown prince gets whatever he wants’ mentality that could be a part of it.
I had to stop at 34, I couldn’t take the constant asking for sex. Then trying to make it mandatory in their marriage contract to have sex and when the uke declined, he offered money to coerce him. He always is trying to have sex. Uke wakes up? Sex. Uke eats? Sex. Uke sleep? Sex. Uke says no? Sex. Uke is tired? Sex. It’s just smut with mpreg and coercion thinly veiled as comedy.

He’s written to be a selfish deplorable character, which is why all the other characters around him hate him even after his rebirth. If he was meant to be romanticized then the princess, the crown Prince, and in current life, his secretary wouldn’t constantly be bringing up how terrible he treats MC. He’s not to be seen as a good person, this is a psychological story. He’s exactly how you’d look at Sangwoo. He’s a bad character.

Nah this is not "psychological" it is simply a one dimensional trash character, whether or not the writer intended for the audience to hate him. Let's have some standards. Too often "pscyhological" is misused to give a sheen of substance to this kind of frankly tacky, tropey writing. This is not even a shallow pool it is a puddle after light rain.

Never once did I say he was a perfect written character, I’m saying the genre which it is under psychological. This isn’t written as a love story at least what the author claims.
Everything aside, I think I’m a little annoyed by the whole “tsundere” personality. Like dude is letting you live rent free in a building that you’d never be able to step foot in usually, feeds you, gives you access to unlimited money, allows you to see your mom and makes sure she’s not being touched by putting her in the kitchen even when she’s in debt, and is only asking you to attend school but that’s too much? Like you have NOTHING to your name, had no phone, no home, or anything but constantly acts out yelling, calls him names, treats him like shit while simultaneously taking everything given.
Not saying you shouldn’t be suspicious because this guy is a stranger but if it was me, I’d do what was asked while drawing a line to persevere my safety. His personality is so annoying and they just brush it off because of his looks.

I’m sorry but when is Arke coming? Like at this point it’s annoying because it’s repetitive, arke past comes up and she fixes it. Her mom is irresponsible as hell, her father head is in the clouds, the grandpa is cool, but it’s like Arke is only used as a plot device to make Iris look better. Even her backstory was dry.
I completely agree. I lot of my enthusiasm for this manga has waned because I've been really interested in them digging more into Arke and her relationships with her dad and grandpa but it seems like the manga is more interested in using Arke to keep making Iris look more incredible in comparison
