So he doesn’t even check on his children after he fed, presumably cleaned and put to bed a grown woman? They didn’t even eat food, now it’s “where’s my children?” YOURE a dick, you not only yell at your son (who was being a brat) you yell at your parents for trying to console them, then yell at your mom again for trying to ensure their safety when they ran off?

Asian parents be like. And the kid was being a brat though, he needs a parent to teach him not to target someone just cause you don’t like that person, for his own good. Of course I get why the kid is acting out but still.
The MC is also dumb to not go after his kids and take care of a grown ass woman? The Wei ya girl needs a reality check that her crush, the MC, is taken with two kids.

MY OPINION- NOT A DEBATE
Maybe.. I sympathized with MC more than I should. He makes choices despite the other partner/friend and expect everyone to halt for him. Granted he didn’t expect to get injured but it was a great possibility considering he was frontline in war, If I go to pick flowers in a meadow full of thorns, I’d want to not get pricked and can try to avoid them but it’s always a chance I get pricked. Despite his partner not agreeing, he went anyway for his goals, I believe he should’ve ended it before because his passion outsailed his love. He also got into a FWB situation then decided to cut it off with no warning and then just wanted to disappear only telling him with a phone call afterwards.
Taejoo had it the worse, his partner leaves despite his caution, he spends years searching for him, he then grieves his potential death which is harder when you’re not sure if they’re dead or not, his friend accused him of rape, then his ex from five years ago comes back and wants him again.
MC does have this “wait for me” attitude, I think he’s better off by himself because he’s pursuing his passion of his career which isn’t a bad thing whatsoever and inserting someone else into his life is not ideal right now when he’s endangering himself and/or traveling a lot for months at a time.

Why are they making them important side characters? Like they make the whole story uncomfortable to read. I can definitely go without seeing broccoli with a extreme bro-con fetish. I do wish the brother gets away though and gets help because he’s definitely traumatized —
but where tf was the parents through all of this?

Why is it drama in EVERY chapter, like damn we don’t a chapter of smooth sailing? Also, why are you sending your children out with your dad (who’s presumably not strong enough to protect them because he couldn’t even protect his wife) into the forest if they are already being hunted for? I think he’s too arrogant and doesn’t think things through completely because he’s strong so he thinks in the end that he’ll just fight it away instead of dealing with issues to end it. He even admits that though he won’t listen to Aslan advice, he’ll fall back on him of things go wrong. I keep reading for the kids because one mc is an idiot with a complex and the other is a pedophilic rapist.

It is really obvious they were both affected but NOT out of their minds. Yunshen tried to get away, he didn't want that. He said he preferred girls, Aslan tied him up and did what he wanted without caring about yunshen's feeling s or opinion. The n he held him and said you're finally mine....So there was definitely fault (And premeditation on Aslan's part), that is why he wanted to take responsibility. It doesn't make him less of a rapist but this is yaoi so people are desensitized.Aslan was 34 yunshen was barely 18.

This is why my mom always said love shouldnt blind you to the point of risking your children. Meaning “be careful of who you let be around your kids.” I can only imagine how his mom feels, imagine being in love with someone just for them to leave THEN come back only to point guns at you and your grandchild while trying to mate with your son.
This is reminding me of when people in family guy fall
