It's mentioned that he was experimented on and had his body experience irregular growth... but I mean, he still seems sketchy...
@ everyone saying the seme raping the uke isnt that bad since its fictional.
Thats not the case. Its just lazy and bad writing.
Its a quick way to get a sex scene in the first chapter instead of actually fleshing out the relationship or story.
Dont believe me? Go read a yaoi manga that is only 1 volume (5 chapters) you'll find alot of authors do the same.
Its a way to make a quick buck by selling to fujoshis with weird ass fantasies without putting effort in.
╮( ̄_ ̄)╭ Not going to deny that lazy writing part considering yes, without the rape as a plot device, there really wouldn't be that much of a plot left. But ya know, you can't really expect a masterpiece out of every yaoi, especially a genre that fetisizes literally every taboo and caters to an audience that feeds off of a sparkly and soft version of what is normally abuse. Authors, especially ones who aren't capable of making that 8 volume shounen ai masterpiece we're all truly craving, have to play the feed the sensation game too. Mangaka is a competitive job after all. But its your opinion, so I'll respect that.
Am i the only one who feels this has kinda gone downhill since they escaped? I read all this in one sitting, i dont like how quickly they introduce then cut off subplots, i feel like theyre too many loose plot threads. and im kinda disapointed that there has been no character development for the main characters since.. idk chapter 50?? Im pretty sure the demons developing genes based on their diet is straight from the chimera ant arc lol
Okay, let's be logical here. This story is not leaving loose plot threads. Its just that the fact that these kids are escaping a legitimate Demon World and are growing fast. I mean, do you realize how much you could do in just a couple weeks? These kids are just adapting to the world fast, which is why there are more profounded plots. Therefore, making this story actually become well-planned and matching the characteristics of these children adapting and growing fast. And of course they would cut off the subplots. I mean, dude, would you want to do something for too long and get yourself chomped off by a demon. Based upon such observations of the children, I can hereby declare the original way of the Author's to be logical and fitting for the atmosphere and theme of these children and the demons. Otherwise, they would just be plain dead. And that's not the goal of the story. You wouldn't want to get eaten by a demon just because you decided to study something for too long. They have scarce time. And I think and KNOW that the Author's made good use of that scarce time.

Now wait just a darn secomd what is this about ian attending a korean highschool abd travelling through time
