Pretty sure a majority of its plot has been retcon because of that government “watch”/ban on queer manhua’s that started a few years back. Which sucks because we were just about to get somewhere with the main story, but it’s okayyy. Being handed out of order slice of life short comics is better than not having anything at all, right?

I wanna see the statistics on how bad the viewership dropped for this last side-story. With ‘side stories’ this long and involved it’s worth just creating a short spin off series for it instead of tainting a good piece of art.
The change in direction for the writing already made the boss’s point kinda confusing (made it seem like it was set up for him to do something bad) This back story just feels so forced and convoluted.

Literally WTF I don’t know what else to say, I’m so irritated. The story is really doing everything it can to make JK’s redemption arc (if thats even a thing thats supposed to be happening) completely null. That whenever it does happen and for whatever reasons, won’t change that he’s a borderline sociopathic jerk who’s only intentions with Dan is owning him.
