It's always like this in stories. Whenever they say they wanna talk at someplace private, it's almost always NEVER private. Like who tf talks about that stuff on the staircase? And even if they do, people usually don't mention it straightforwardly. It would've been enough for her to say "it's hard for me to believe what you said but I'm gonna try" instead of straight up mentioning "you reincarnated" etc. At least if someone overheard, they could make up a story.
This is so fucking dumb, are characters just not capable of keeping secrets anymore? You're telling me that these professional adult who have high positions in companies are that unaware and incapable of finding a truly private place?!

I had to stop at ch 13, everything just infuriates me. That fucking crown prince is a piece of shit.
He's an arrogant bastard, that feels entitled to everything just because he's a prince. He never treats the MC with respect, he's also borderline abusive. He doesn't take no for an answer, he pulled off an entire squad from the murder investigation just because the MC refused his dinner invitation. He would rather his people die and be in danger for his FCKING HUGE EGO!
He doesn't respect the Louis' work, doesn't respect Louis' privacy, doesn't respect his personal space, obstructs the investigation, forces Louis to be with him, violates him, gaslighting him (honestly Louis thought it was his fault that they're understaffed when in fact that crown prince is just fking irresponsible).
I am tired of abusive, possessive, downright assholes MLs. I don't care how hot or charming they are, if they're shit then they're shit.

Honestly, I had to stop at chapter 17.. this is just not my cup of tea. If everything is more detailed, I might have liked it better, however it feels like I'm just reading a summary of what is happening instead of being pulled into the story itself..
Maybe because I've read too much of this genre, that this manhwa is too stiff for me.

So not only did she test Aubrey with the jewelry box, she also tested the new maids from the duchy on whether or not they would listen to her orders.
The maids ignored her order and used their own analysis(?) to bring Aubrey to Margaret before they bring her to Tia. Even though to them, it might sound like a good solution, however they're basically ignoring the grand duchess.

I have read the novel and this is slightly out of order. Tia actually only orders the maids to quietly go get Margaret to come to her. Tia plans to use this incident to have the Jordyns owe her but also because tia already knew Aubrey will become a liability. This was her plan and chance to "rid" of this liability.
Tia let Margaret be the one to decide Aubrey's punishment. And its Margaret that orders the maids to hunt down and find Aubrey.
When he said that the imperial family members are airheads, I agreed lol.
I mean, just look at the way they handled the kidnapping, it's almost like they have no trusted guards or knights at all. EVERYTHING has to be done by the emperor or the princes. They should've appointed a few magicians that could've fought against the grimoires(?) "bloodlust" thingy. I mean, they already knew the opponents are capable of magic, and the fact that they only sent knights is stupid. They also didn't do a background check on Riolu(?).
Everyone is just so... incompetent. They're so dependant on their guardians and the royal knights seem like cannon fodders
