If it were me i would've accepted it and gave it to blake. Maybe he could've used it in the future.

Yes, but as of now, where both of them are as good as being orphans abandoned by their families (the king can't openly favor the crowned prince w/o a backlash from other nobles, so he really can't help and protect them openly, he can't even manage to see to it that his son is fed well enough). That mana stone can be used for funds or magic or bribing or asking for favors.
It'll be much logical to use it for Blake's well being than give me it back to someone who can use it to harm Blake in the future.

Fair enough, but character development exists part of one's journey. A person isn't inherently born harmful to others, it is usually cause by their living environment and the education they were taught in but there may be some exceptions, thank you for sharing your thoughts, I like looking at how different people's reaction would be in certain situations.

Thank you for that too. It's just that I think it'd be better to keep it.
As for humans not being born inherently evil, i think what makes human good isn't normally empathy but laws. We were taught to not do this and that and we were told the consequences or punishments of those things are. I'm not saying that we were born to hurt others, but i think humans were born without right or wrong in their system and the way our surrounding works is what molds us. YES, i also completely agree about "character development" and i love a good character development. I just hope that little hugo taran (richard) does have a good one.
Just fcking wipe their asses with that mop
