Yes, can't agree more. Its so refreshing to see a manga with some real character development. Granted we tend to see it more in Shounen Ai more than we see it Yaoi.

I also agree with that. The "No-Aid relationship" or whatever was really just...i didn't understand how that was made a title but um...ok （￣へ￣）
One thing I really like about this story is how much it focuses on Lily’s connections to her past life. In most isekai stories an ordinary Mc usually dies/travels to another world, spends 5 seconds feeling sad, then is like,”ok time to start a brand new life!”
It’s so much more interesting(an realistic imo)to see an mc who actually feels some emotion from having to be separated from her family and friends, and even having a romantic relationship that got cut off because she ended up dying. Idk I guess it just makes me feel more for her as a character knowing how hard she tries to move on from her past and find happiness in a newly place despite all the regrets she has
Ur right I don't think I can just forget about my parents family friends & lover and just move on its not like their dead gone just out of my reach.
You should read Empress of Another World then! It's an amazing story, and with your expressed interest in how you like the mc to stay connected to her last world, I'm sure you'll love it if you already haven't read it.(๑•ㅂ•)و✧

From the comments I was expecting her to be a doormat but she’s...really not?? Imo she’s pretty calm and levelheaded, yeah she might have low self esteem cuz of how she was abused, but she’s definitely not dumb and speaks up where it counts
I think the way she doesn’t beat herself up over not being as strong as the people(vampires) around her but tries her best to do what she can to help Hai Lin instead is what makes me like her
