To all the people saying the reaction would be different if the roles were switched, you’re absolutely right. Cuz then it’d be like all the stories on here where the casual playboy hits on some innocent virgin, she turns down his attempts to seduce her, he gets more interested cuz “sHe’S nOt LiKe OtHeR GiRls”, a lot of drama happens but they end up getting together in the end and everyone’s fine w it because it was actually love at first sight but he just didn’t realize it
The difference here is that people aren’t willing to give Havi the benefit of the doubt and label her as a heartless slut who’s only after Yuls body while ignoring her attempts to change little by little, which idk seems a bit unfair to me

I read this manga on another site but I could immediately tell the girl would be criticized and held to some higher moral standard for doing all the things a firty playboy type male lead would otherwise be doing if he was in her place. your point about how they ignore any changes or compromises she makes for him was spot on btw

From the comments I was expecting her to be a doormat but she’s...really not?? Imo she’s pretty calm and levelheaded, yeah she might have low self esteem cuz of how she was abused, but she’s definitely not dumb and speaks up where it counts
I think the way she doesn’t beat herself up over not being as strong as the people(vampires) around her but tries her best to do what she can to help Hai Lin instead is what makes me like her
So is nobody wondering how he changes clothes??
İt was the first question i ask myself about him :-)
I was always thinking that!!
