10/10 i can't even starting expressing how much I love this story. Not only that both couples are great I adore the first couple and the secound couple is just so charming. Not only that THEY NEVER ABADONED ANY OF THEM. The author mastered pacing and was able to have equal screen time for both couples in a relalostic and satisfying way never once did I feel "omg i don't care about what they are doing I want to see the other couple" because the author didn't do the dumb thing most of this authors like do to and throw the first couple to the side and show them like once every 10 chapters so. No this story developed both couples at the same time equally of course since the first couple technically now got double time they are going to the the most developed.
This story made such intresting characters with the most healthiest relationship regardless of it's bdsm like I'm going to be honest this Is one of my favourite romances not even just connected to BL just in general. Never have I felt so calm and comfortable around a couple like this. They felt so loving and understanding of each other like it's insane how mucn emotional intelligence the mc has at times. Like I genuinely feel like they are soul mates. They trust each other so much I feel insane at times.
Also no contrived drama! No freaking insane jealousy and all that stuff everyone communicated their needs well and it allowed for such introspective dialogue I didn't expect in a BL. Lmaooo like I was just reading their thoughts and I'm like my goodness you guys are so human it makes me sick. Anyways this is such an unforgettable read. Def top 5
Never seen a BL handle the topic of gay jokes based on harmful stereotypes born from ignorance done well. It's sad to see but very much the type of joking around you will come across irl and it hurts those who are gay.
This story would have be s-tier if it ended with her and Vincent running away together to a place no one knows them where her and Vincent can be happy. Maybe she meets a guy who is actually not emotionally stunted and borderline abusive.
Vincent was a victim in all of this the poor boy deserved so much better than the parents he got. At least our mc tried to change and be more affectionate but ml stayed cold and agressive towards his own son. Just made me so sad for him
I actually don't know what to say. This is giving Colleen hoover Tbh. Where the mc is horrible emotionally and mentally abused by her partner but it's fine cause he was there. And he was nice sometimes. Like.... I just keep remembering all the times he like dismissed her or hurt her feelings on purpose and all the other horribly abusive things he had done/let happen to her. So this puts a bitter taste in my mouth.
You forgot to mention how he he caused her sister’s miscarriages (yes plural) on the emperors orders and KILLED her brother. So there is that too…
Never been this tired of sex scenes like in this story.
This story is already quite short and a lot of the chapters were just sex scenes now seeing the extras follow the same path is tiring to say the least.
8.5/10 it's just cute with annoying moments that were resolved quickly thankfully. The characters don't have anything much to give sadly but I love the art and it's just a cute fluffy story with an alright dynamic.
Idk i think my impression of them both is kinda negative from the first 20 or so chapters. I don't hate them but idk it's just odd.
They are so adorable now. Also their progression as a couple was so natural it felt like i was also being involved. Like they aren't dense and they progressed as such, it felt heavily realistic the way they just naturally starter calling eachother their partner i really enjoyed it more than classic romance confessions.
I don't think ive ever read a story where the boy actually does get SA LIKE IT'S heavily implied and everything I literally got so much chills because this wasn't an unrealistic situation it could very much happen Irl.
I'm just so freaked out by this, Tbh I'm more invested in the character Bgs than the romance like ahahabha

Shit like this has most definitely happened in real. I heard a story of a boy in an all-boys boarding school whom got bullied and was also r***. The shitty school even tried to cover it up to not tarnish they reputation. Sad world we live in.
I waited so long for this story to be completed to the point were I forgot about it. I stumbled upoun it on a tik tok comment and I immediately came back to reread it..
I'm so glad I did, this is the easiest 10/10 for me. The reveal about dillian and adeline was so perfect I actually felt like weak in my legs. They were always meant to be and I actually can't believe this wasn't what I expected.
First of all this story didn't have UNESSECARY ANNOYING MISUNDERSTANDINGS! AND IT'S A SLOWBURN THINK ABOUT THAT. I depse slowburn because of those reasons but this story didn't have it it was peak. the two do the communicated beautifully with each other if there was one it would be resolved either in the same chapter or the next. I never felt frustrated because of them.
Their feelings were developing so nicely and it was wonderful.
This is slowburn but it was such an amazing written one, I didn't feel frustrated like how slowburns are usally written because the two of them were already so loving and caring with each other. Omg. I love dillian's personality her sharp canines are so adorable. The two of them get along so well as friends so many romance stories miss that in their main couple relationships. They have to get along first and dillan and cedrick were so adorable. They goof of which eachother prank each other make fun of each other. They were such a delight to watch interact rather than the cliche stand offish/embarrassed behaviour most of this female leads have.
Tbh dawg I fell harder for dilian and I did cedrick don't get me wrong cedrick is like a an ss-tier male lead. My favorite chapter was definitely when he realised he fell for Dylan and literally kept commenting on how he couldn't breathe and his face was red the whole time it was adorable.
But Dylan is actually peak female lead, her cheekiness and loving character are actually to die for. She has like an insane amount of rizz and she isn't afraid to speak her mind.
This is how you write slowburn make it actually burn and not just them being slow.
Exactly! A proper slow burn is them slowly getting close to each other, development friendship and trust and such. Not having 70+ chapters of misunderstandings despite both leads liking each other yet being a shy wreck in front of each other.
