The fl is smart, but not all-knowing. She'll do what she must to protect her people, she'll plan ahead as much as possible, but she won't know all the schemes. She can't fathom the lengths her father will go to, because she is a good person who can't think of ways to hurt others, unlike her father.
And especially love how fl and ml come to love each other. No drawn-out misunderstanding, no bullshit 'unsure of feelings', 'avoid him for his own good' or straight up not talking to the other person coz 'awkward'. They are both open with each other as much as they can, and support each other.
Also the ml is such a green flag, not like other manhwas where the fl hugging another male would prompt a whole subplot of jealousy, threatening the other guy, trapping the fl etc.
all these people with no sympathy for anita. She was used and abused and discarded, and her entire family killed, all with her own power. She was a hurt person out to get back what she gave to the scum who betrayed her, and vilified her entire people. I don't blame her at all, coz if she was the FL then all readers would be cheering for her. She is deserving of sympathy, apology and acknowledgement from the descendants of the man who wronged her, and for the FL to now set history straight. How was she supposed to achieve all this without the use of her powers?
I do think the ex-fiance duke guy who is in love with anita is much worse than anita. He is supposed to be loyal to the kingdom and to his family, and he has no problems imprisoning his family, committing treason and killing many for anita's goals. His betrayal is much more insidious than anita's attacks which were at least provoked.
I do wish for a peaceful resolution for anita, and for the emperor and the ex-fiance to suffer. They were 2 people who should not have done all the cruel things they put the FL through
But I do like this departure from the novel, that the other 'ediths' and the original 'edith' aren't just 1-bit characters whose death is mentioned and forgotten. They get their own revenge on rize and/or move on to another happier future. Rize doesn't get off scot-free like the novel for the murders she knowingly commits. The part before this with edith's torture and capture could've been executed better if it were a bit more faithful to the novel though, they tried to tone that down and ramp up the retribution more.

none of us are surprised by the fact that the ML is still a dickhead. Its good that she is gaining more independence, but there's still the inherent 'master-servant' dynamic that hasn't gone away. Its only gotten worse, where the FL has to try and understand the ML's controlling and abusive behaviour, instead of the ML going through a grovelling and growing arc.
