In a genre filled with rude scammers and effortlessly OP protagonists, gongja is such a breath of fresh air. Don't get me wrong, the others are entertaining, but this one is so MOVING. Gongja is truly someone who has visibly grown, and is now the kindest, most righteous and responsible MC i've seen, and I love him for it. Its rare that I read a story for the MC, usually side characters completely steal the show, but here, the side characters are great, but the MC is the frontrunner.
And the way there's no harem teasing, no mandatory dense scenes for the MC, just pure affection and adoration... hell yeah
There are insecure people, and there are overthinkers, and then there's the MC. In no world is an FULL GROWN ADULT who's gone through a PUBERTY so freaking BLIND.
Reading this series is like reading twilight. You are frustrated beyond measure, but you are somehow unable to stop reading despite the thoroughly annoying characters, because you keep hoping in vain that things will improve. Though, to be fair, neither of these main characters are as bad as the ones in twilight.

Read the writing on the effing wall, the alpha sucks, and doesn't choose you, so LEAVE! Instead he keeps wanting to screw the alpha, but also keep the omega on the hook coz he likes the attention and pampering. Now, even with the limited info he has, he isn't anywhere close to doing the right thing himself. Everyone in the story straight up sucks.
Hate it when MCs are indecisive, same with ML. Ugh
The omega ml's character was assassinated coz the story would never have an omega x beta pairing, simply coz we can't have sensible happy endings, and alphas are what sell. The omega had been patient and loving all the time, and had been a victim himself, being mistreated by his family and by the alpha ml (who is an absolute piece of trash to both the omega and the beta).
So, to make it feasible for the alpha to be the endgame, we HAD to destroy the omega's character. Tbf, even after all the shit he's pulled, he's still the better of the 2 options, as while he is manipulative, the alpha is straight up physically abusive, so lesser of the 2 evils according to me. At least when it comes to the MC he is very sweet and loving

I hope everything goes wrong for jaekyung so that he pulls his head out of his own ass. The other boxer didn't even say anything bad. Jaekyung is just a violent and abusive pos, and this story will be a happy ending if jaekyung loses everything and drops off the story, and then dan learns how to be self-sufficient and happy on his own after leaving jaekyung, and realising how much happier he is.
You know what though? The most important fact is that while chanyang has proven himself to be patient, constant and dependable, with seungha nari is the one who was chasing, hurt, confused because seungha had much more stuff on his plate. Not his fault, but then its also fine for nari to choose whoever she finds more dependable. And that is chanyang by a long shot.
