The reason this manga makes so many people sad is because shishio was, by no means, a bad person. He was never awful, as male leads usually are, to the girl. He was not as good to her as mamura was, and was wishy-washy, but never treated her badly like most male leads do. Mamura was great, and what the female lead deserved, like most second male leads that get the support of readers, but in this one, sensei still had a lot of supporters purely because he never did anything that made him a bad person in general, and he was sincere in his feelings too (as a teacher, him liking a student freely wouldn't have been good either).
I totally support mamura getting the girl, but i feel bad for the sensei too, so hopefully things go okay with him and his neighbour

Gets off as easily as soojung did. They didn't fire her even as the company's name was dragged through the mud, they still paid her, they protected her by propositioning the guy who she plagiarised from, exploiting his weakness (as if they hadn't caused him enough harm)... then she still gets to get off without apologising properly for all the shit she put taesoo through in his previous job, gets to keep her money-ticket boyfriend, and plays the victim card when she realises he may break up with her due to an old fiancee. She talks shit about her boyfriends whole family on the street, and then resigns as though taking the high-ground after the long-overdue breakup.
Had this happened in real life, she would've had her comeuppance as soon as the plagiarism shit got out. I would've preferred as real life to this story, which is not a very good sign for a story

Emiel was beaten up and put under house arrest by the Duke? Coz the Duke saying emiel forgot to mention it, and emiel shivering was comedic, at least in my opinion. Now he is beaten up?

But beating up seems wrong. House arrest would be justified, and him being removed from estelle's guard would be justified. But beating up? They're knights and guards, not whipping dogs. This was disturbing to me.. considering the duke is beating up one of his own people, and estelle had no problems with it, especially when emiel cares so much for estelle. Punish him without violence, man... violence against estelle when she is kidnapped is awful, but this is worse, considering the one beating emiel up is his employer and not his enemy. It's cruel, to be beaten up by the one you are loyal to

No, no. Emiel beat up that guy for letting Estelle go near the red haired boy. Because, you know, Emiel is overprotective of Estelle. Most likely, that's that reason for his house arrest. They wouldn't just lock him for no reason at all. Estelle's just a bit naive into the ways of Knights or whatever Emiel is.

This is the only type of tsundere that is acceptable. If they can't express it in words, they express it in their actions that they love... other tsunderes are just uncaring, demeaning, love being chased without doing anything in return, make their significant others insecure all the time, and they get a pass because they blush cutely. Nope.
About emiel being beaten up and put under house arrest by the Duke for letting the redhead approach estelle. I seriously dislike that fact
ikr...and estelle didnt even apologize since it was her fault in the first place bcuz she doesnt listen at all. and Carlos was being way too rude to emiel like i know they hate humans but this is too far.
The father-son pair should know exactly how hard it is to gain loyal knights, and then they treat the ones they have like this. Honestly..
They should tell estelle what to do and what not to do instead of punishing the knights for her decisions
