Too much damage has already been done and I doubt its the last time JK treats him this way. if anything, its gonna get worse. not sure how Mingwa plans to redeem JK's character but no amount of past trauma can excuse such shitty behavior imo...
it would be nice to have a 2nd male lead that Dan actually takes an interest in and dates instead (and not just there for a subplot). JK has no redeemable qualities at this point. all those favors he's done for Dan were ultimately for himself too. i dont see JK turning a new leaf any time soon. JK is in for a very rude awakening once he realizes being at the top is gonna start feeling very lonesome...
also I wish the author would stop making Dan excuse JK's bad behavior. Dan falling for JK came out of nowhere and makes absolutely no sense. there was hardly any build-up to his feelings. It would only make sense if JK began to treat Dan differently, but the bar is so low for him, any simple act of human decency makes Dan blush. MAKE IT MAKE SENSE!

i think the only way for Dan to leave is if JK fires Dan himself first. That's how I see it happening. Once JK hits rock bottom, he'll probably blame Dan for messing with his head (being a distraction) and tell Dan he doesn't need him anymore. Dan would have no choice but to leave.
the way i thought about it was dan would literally become homeless bc he doesn't even have a house anymore if jaekyung fires him. he couldn't leave even if he wanted to bc then he'd be homeless and his lil gamgam would rip real quick.
