Maybe they wouldn’t get together in the end but definitely in the future there will be more development in the relationship between scott and martin, i don't think jung likes scott in a romantic way, so for now scott is one-sided. i believe the author has his own plans and purposes for them to appear, and it definitely affects the relationship between hayden and brett in the future too, and scott is cute too but just not my type

Maybe I'm biased but I don't like that Brett has to change to please Hayden's ideals, Brett himself has accepted Hayden for who he is but Brett is the one who has to change for this relationship to develop? I'm not saying Brett is perfect and doesn't need to develop, he has a lot of problems to solve, but isn't Brett's personality what attracts Hayden? The only thing Brett needs to change is his rigid and pragmatic way of thinking and open up more to Hayden, which also requires Hayden's cooperation. I'm just ranting but Brett certainly won't become a different person because of Hayden, just like Hayden won't change his way of thinking because of Brett, that's why in season 2, their relationship is still a battle.

Honestly I don't think you can really not be a bit calculative and pragmatic when youre that rich... and Brett is relatively good compared to the others shown in the comic. I do think his growth would be more related with becoming more responsible and maybe trusting of Hayden.

Does Brett really like Hayden and why does Brett like Hayden so much? If you simply explain it as Hayden and Brett getting along sexually, that's not wrong, but Brett has asked Hayden out many times without sex. This is my personal opinion, it could be wrong.
The reason Brett likes and is obsessed with Hayden is because he believes that Hayden is the only person who is similar to and understands him. like the moment they looked at each other and smiled with satisfaction in the flashback, or like the scene where Hayden didn't hesitate to hold Brett's hand and drag him away, which reinforced Brett's belief in chapter 6. I believe Brett really wanted to have a long-term and good relationship with Hayden, at least before, because it was really hard to find someone so suitable, like fate.... But the reality is not that simple, Brett knows this so he always tries to find a way to keep Hayden cooperating with him, but throughout ss1, it seems that nothing Brett tries to do is enough to satisfy Hayden, Hayden still always creates a feeling of hostility towards Brett, and it seems that because of that Brett has gradually given up on building a good long-term relationship with Hayden, he become more relaxing and focuses on enjoying the moments with Hayden, like Brett used to be very careful with his words and actions towards Hayden, somewhat tolerating Hayden a bit too much, but now he even mocks and scolds Hayden when he feels hayden being too much (like the sex in chap 24 where he scolded and hit Hayden's shoulder, this is completely different from chap 12 where he could only silently endure. Brett's gradual comfort with Hayden also made Hayden gradually open up to Brett, but Hayden didn't know that the reason Brett became more comfortable was because Brett had given up on building a relationship with Hayden, and so both of them left each other feeling disappointed.
I'm sure everyone has noticed, but the ending where Brett invites Hayden to the party also corresponds to Hayden inviting Brett to go to the theater with him. If you knew the last chapter, you would have seen this similarity more clearly. I think it's a good detail to point out that, if Hayden had previously invited Brett to a place where Brett wasn't interested to express his views on the current relationship, then spoiler, Brett invited Hayden to the party to talk, and share with Hayden a little about himself (Even though Hayden was the one who started first, which is good change too)

This author likes to use the art of similarity, if you pay attention, the sex scene in the toilet in chapter 24 is also similar to chapters 7+ 8 to show the change in the relationship. I think the author doesn't like to repeat a sex scene too many times, like the sex scene in the toilet in chap 7-8 was skipped so we can see the sex scene in chap 24. Idk but I like the episode where they talk to each other, even though it's more like arguing, but the fact that two people gradually listen and understand each other better is very important if they want something more, because it's not simply about liking each other will be successful in dating.
