Sometimes in the "grooming my ML since childhood" trope I give things a pass bc a lot of the times it's honestly the FL just being nice and the ML being delulu asf but this time...this FL might be the worst FL I've seen yet in the trope lol she literally kept love-bombing him despite knowing full well she isn't into him and when he finally fell for her...she isn't even trying to like him back???? like bro...you caused all of this you selfish b*tch?????? Its alright...i love the FL and ML isnt bad and i adore the plot but something about the way things are executed doesn't really feel that satisfying lol like I get she was in love with him but maybe its the manwha?? Idk if it is different in the novel but here it doesnt feel like she tried to push him away THAT much tbh she should have been a lot colder and kept more of a distance. As for the ML i feel that he fell a little too fast for her?? I would understand if it was bc of his past life with her but that connection never really gets brought up in his POV so it just feels random. That being said THE RUNNING AWAY ARC SHOULD HAVE BEEN LONGER!!!!!!!!!! it was soooo satisfying seeing him loose his mind over her LOL i was like "this is it!! The semi-passive ML is gonna awaken!! I wanna see him begging her to come back!!!" But then he...didn't really do anything? And FL came back just like that after running away in the middle of the night with her tail between her legs? Awkward....lol
Honestly I usually judge the FL when they say crap like that and then proceed to do the complete opposite but I think the only reason imma give her grace and can actually understand is cuz instead of the usual douche pos ML who treats the FL bad and they were one-sidedly in love with them and 2nd time around decide to be cold this time we actually get a FL and ML who were both equally madly in love and from these last chaps so madly in love in fact the demon had no way of actually breaking them apart. Which is funny to me that an all powerful demon cant even break them up lol. So yeah I'd also have a hard time being cold to someone who I had spent years being in love with and having that reciprocated. Also tbf she was cold to him it hurt him in the most sensitive places tho lol I think her hot and cold effed him up even more and might be why he fell for her so quickly? Lol cuz some guys like that and all these fantasy romance MLs always switch up when the FL suddenly change

She really loved him so I feel like that determination to keep the man that she loves safe and alive no matter what didn't really get conveyed for me, she didn't really feel desperate and I never really felt like sighing and being like "wow how angsty! The helplessness she must feel!!" It jst feels like "well that sucks" lol which is why i mentioned that she should have been colder to him...that is true lol MLs are like that I wish it would have been a connection tbh...would have been cool if she had been cold to him, and he had dreams of their previous life together which is what drew him toward her smh. And the running away thing I think that's what made me drop a star in the rating it didn't do it for me at all.
I g3t that for me personally what makes it kinda messy or lacking is the goddess cuz shes her chosen daughter but then does that mean the original Anastasia also was? How is the novel told as if shes bad and the other girl is the real mc? Loose ends i hope get tied up cuz dunno why she wouldnt have spoke to the fl and ML in the first lifetime
