1. The fact that he's more vulnerable than the FL isn't what I dislike about him. I think one of the things for example is the whole thing with the baby cousin? Niece? And even after she turned back time and did a redo there was never "any explanation for the murdered prince" and they just elope to france so I am assuming that if they did get together after she went back in time it was off screen...?
