Uhm I didn't think I'd pity him, but I lowkey do. Damn this soft heart of mine, regardless though it's what he gets because he drove the previous Melissa to such a state that she was ultimately sentenced to death. I always keep that in the back of my mind, especially that chapter where the previous Melissa and the current Melissa had a heart to heart. Whenever I think about that chapter my pity for Ian seizes and the saddest thing about the previous Melissa was that she didn't ever blame him and that ultimately keeps my feelings of pity for him in check. I really do hope he betters himself though at least so the previous Melissa can be happy
