Although I do somewhat feel bad for the Duke, I'm just glad that my Duchess is thriving. She's not overly concerned with the Duke which is such a plus for me because the Duke was the first to neglect her and I might be petty, but he deserves it. I want him to be the first to profess his love because it irritates me how every single time it falls on the FL to be the first one to express their feelings (making them feel insecure) and the ones to fall in love first. My Duchess has to be one of my favorite characters she's so strong >.<
You lost your chance son, but then again it's not like he knew and I think this will be a good thing for him. He'd be able to close that chapter in his life and move on
