Everyone mentioning bj Alex has me wondering if this story is going to have a similar ch count (bja: 89+sides) and pacing. I gen hope it runs longer bc bja's end felt underdeveloped and this story's lvl of toxic is like bja on crack on steroids.
Like are we really going to go through ML's 'tragic origin story' of why he's such a bitchass, AND mc's grandma's death, AND the mma title dispute, AND the underground betting, AND ml's redemption, AND their reconciliation within 26 chapters?? Hmm?? Bc that sounds like dogshit but also completely plausible with the current pacing.
It'll probably have at least 120 chapters without a side story i think, especifically because of BJ Alex's success (now they want to keep milking it)

well for me it has the same pacing and arc
-they start off as fuck buddies with a toxic relationship proposed by the ML, the ML is a dick
-the MC /bottom catches feelings
-the mc does something and the ML blames him *dg interrupting his life stream /dan being blamed for the foot accident
-the top fucks shit up,has a angry burst and the bottom leaves him
-the ML feels like shit, can't get that limp of a dick up so he goes to the mc not knowing what to do exacly .
-the mc then says hell repay or end their relationship with sex
-they have sex and the mc is like repulsed by the ML ,no kissing , no looking at each other just sex -no unnecessary sentemntall touching ,ML tries to get extra touchy in a desperate try .
-this chapter alone was word for word bar for bar with ch45 of bj Alex
--after the sex ends and they cut ties the TOP then realizes his feelings
-starts chasing after the MC ,confesses and gets together
-they reconcile and we get the ML Sope opera backstory .
jinx is just a more toxic story with dubious consent/older characters with different professions
Gen impressed w how many u listed holyI think overall Jinx is slightly better drawn out relative to bja but I agree parallels are p hard to miss and it hits all the same beats as bjaI think Jinx is padded w more smut/fight scenes since the sidecouple takes up less realistate in Jinx's than in bja but otherwise it's a 1:1

we didn't even get an interesting side couple like the ones from bj Alex ...well who know maybe mingwa is tricking us into believing shes repeating bl alex plot but then surprises us with a massive plot twist like Jaekyung dying or something lol
the premise of this story is basically that oneyplays bit where if you throw a GameCube into your bath, instead of dying, you get transported into Smash Bros
