Also the queen isn’t all powerful, she can’t just snap her fingers against her family and they’re all dead.
They NEED her so her son can ascend the throne because she’s from an influential family. It’s why the red head got dropped immediately in favor of her. She’s not as helpless as it appears to be since they had to blackmail her to get her to marry.
But if you take her mother outta the equation (by hiding her or keeping her in the estate) then there’s not much the queen can do to keep her hostage.
Also she knows Ricardo and how little emotions he had in childhood, so I dunno why she’s not seeing that when she also read the story. He went from no emotions, to slowly opening up, to having his emotions hardened out again when he left away from her.
From what I understand mc thought since she knew the future, tye one from the novel, of Ricardo returning an defeating them all, she is placing her bets on that fate is set in stone.
So if she tells her family they'd fight the empress, and Ricardo could be in danger, or she herelsef could die.
Tbh it doesn't make sense. At least after 3~4 years at least she should've told them before the wedding, her family now knowing Ricardo is no longer vulnerable could cancel her wedding or at least delay more. But even that they made mc afraid to tell them and have the royal family pressure them even more. Doesn't make sense how stupid that is. But I do understand, she barely made up with them and still feel like a burden or afraid to be hated, I'd hoped they not gloss that over and someone scold her for not relying on her fucking influence in the Ducal family.
“Even after knowing the truth, he still casts me aside” why the hell would she and her family do something to support him when he could literally kill them for all they know. He literally has been threatening her since the beginning and they only got to have a better relationship for a short time before they got separated. Idk why you expect her to have so much faith in him when he’s literally unpredictable. We don’t even know what she’s actually planning to do but she has to think of her family and her mom. Which Ricardo and the Empress CAN potentially harm before she lifts a finger. Like chill she just got into this mess give her a minute to calm down and think about her options

I totally understand. I hate how she didn’t seek help form her family and others. Also why automatically assume that they are now allies or in this together. lol I don’t think ppl want to admit it but she’s acting like all is hopeless.
I wanna know, what happened to her siblings? We know of only two, while the rest they simply said they most likely ran off.
I especially wanna see where the two big sisters who’ve been haunting this story like a ghost are.
Maybe we’ll see in upcoming chaps or even side stories?
Iirc the rest either ran away and get hanged by the enemy, while the two sis IIRC one of them get killed by the other one who conspired w the enemy IIRC it was the second sis— (that have resting bitc face) red haired one who conspire w the enemyy. There’s no romantic vibe, shes treated as a close friend because she’s helped theor countless times, and he’s a child who’s not even interested in love yet. That’s why he sticks to her. Shes 1, familiar and 2, keeps the rabid girls at bay.
The next chapter is her most likely feeling like she doesn’t belong anymore and theor will cheer her up and talk about how close of friends they are and that his mom picked her for a reason.

Overall, the story was basic and the key point of her ‘changing’ her fate was casting an unhappy woman out of her body and then using said body to become a picture perfect wife.

Why doesn’t he just let it lie? She’s in love with one of your sons, and she’d eventually become apart of the royal family. So then shes ‘’’tied’’’ to your empire and you can continue on as it was.
