But ye the main storyline annoyed me a lottttt, like form the start mc confessed OBVIOUSLY in a romantic normal sense and ml was an ass cuase he neither wanted to turn him down entirely and reject nor did he wanna accept his feelings in a romantic way and date, he just took advantage of his feelings and tried to get only what he wanted out of it, sex, like sure there's nothing wrong with wanting just sex but you can't have the best of both worlds, the dude was asking you out properly and to him sex only came with the dating package and you should've picked tp either reject it all or take it all but you wanted to pick and choose while he gets nothing he wants and you pulled the situationsjop to SEVEN MONTHS and still had the audacity to pull "if you confess again then we better end this"?
But then mc pissed me the hell of cause how do you manage to majorly fuck up sex to that degree, not stopping when told, when told it hurts, not even using lube and condoms even tho he repeatedly told you to, and all that after JUST saving him from the r4pist, like being a virgin isn't an excuse here, this isn't a lack of experience thing this is just stupid ass behavior thing and it was lazy writing to have THAT be the variable in the plot of "oh he started from rock bottom and he improves and becomes someone that does everything right in those things" ehhh,,,
And then also the bartender rapist plotpoint also entirely useless stupid and lazy writing, like what was the reason,
And then throughout the story we're not given ANY reason as to why ml is acting that way, why he's so insanely against the thought of dating, we literally only ever see the surface of the character, we only get his tragic backstory right at the end right before it's all resolved and he finally gives in, that's way too late in the story to be told that, it felt hella last minute
But at least i loved the scene of him finally giving up and admitting his feelings and crying and hugging mc and how even at home he's still emotional and crying in bed, like I love how the emotional mood didn't immediately get resolved and jump into sex again in that moment, just cuddling and crying and calming down
And then side stories were cute too but holy hell it took so long I almost forgot what the main plot even was but even that was a bit of a clunky writing cause why's mc throwing a tantrum and running away just cause ml also said he also wants to take up a job opportunity away from there?? Like mc says he's gonna go to another city for an opportunity and be long distance, he already made the decision he's gonna do it without even a "hey I'm thinking about it, what do you think", but when ml says ok then I'll take up the opportunity abroad too you lose your shit, not talk for days and pull a "figure out what you did wrong yourself I'm not talking to you?" Way to go mister " please date me I'll treat you right I'm not like your exes" , , ,

but then the reality of their friendship was revealed that he clearly rejected him and gave no room for ambiguity and as a friend was a great friend then neoul is the only one in the wrong, Idk about others but I didn’t go back and forth ans don’t know how others reading the same thing aren’t also entirely only mad at neoul too
