I dont really understand why ,after the ex wife found out about the uke ex-lover, their relationship broke down, am I just not reading between the lines or did i miss something? Because a big part if the plot was the uke feeling guilty because he wasn’t confident their relationship would last(because of his divorce mainly).

From my understanding the wife divorced Jaeha because he couldn't rely on her. He kept too many things to himself and wouldn't share how he felt. Trust is an important part of a relationship and I imagine as wife it's really hard knowing the man you love can't rely on you for comfort or support. She ultimately felt distant and doubted he even loved her. It was Jaeha's fault their marriage failed and also why his relationship with Eunho struggled so much. Jaeha couldn't share the truth because he was afraid of being exposed and hurt. That was my interpretation of things at least.

Movies are not really important thou, they are in a different universe form the actual anime and manga, so it doesn't matter what happens in the movies it won't affect the anyme in any kida way, the purpose of the movie is to bring cash to the Company that is in charge of making the anime of inuyasha
