I know for a fact that author didn't put any reaserch into this one like ain't no way medieval Europe boy using chopsticks, also the agriculture aspect of this manhwa is non existent. Only character's interaction w each other keeping it alive there's no substance to the novel and a lot of things are contradictory. One moment they show how 'male' of this story are such devotees and then the next they are building their harem due to which I can't help but think once this story end w "happily ever after" for us reader the story will continue it's own world and ML will cheat on FL ( I'm sorry ml). I only like Grandma in this whole novel.
Who said anything about it being medieval Europe?? No, seriously, did I just not see it? Action happens in world of fantasy romance. Author might've as well said they are cutting steak with a spoon and it still wouldn't have made a difference to any 'research'.
And I don't mean to say that this story is perfect, but for the example you showed - well. Aren't people contradictory? They might show one side of them to one person and to different another one. They can also pretend to be someone to one person to deceive them and use them. And all those 'males who are supposed to be devotees'... For the ex fiance he was from the beginning said to be a trash with trash character which original MC didn't know about too blinded with OG story so I guess it wasn't who you meant. The ML's grandfather then? He choose political route. Whether he ever actually loved the grandma, used her, or got overwhelmed by pressure and power, at this point it's hard to say because we only have two perspectives of him rn and neither is his. And father was never even suitable for that description so I'll ignore him.
I know what you mean, with the way story goes, two emperors and both ending happily ever after with harem of concubines, it's easy to wonder if our happy ending will be so. But considering it's only not even 40th chapter yet and our leads are as close as they could be and our girl is strong and strong enough to speak for herself where there is a need to (and has faithful sword that I believe WILL smack ml in the face if he betrays MC), I'd like to believe that this story will have a satisfying enough conclusion that I won't have any doubts about the happy end.
Or at least those are my hopes for this story. It's forever since the last time I read such a male lead and such a sweet relationship between two leads so I might be biased.
And yes. I fully agree that grandma is absolutely amazing.
