Tbh...I kind of want her to be able to go back home (to her world) after she resolves all of the kids' issues. Because she left behind the dream house she finally got after working and saving up, all to just end up randomly in a book...? (Moreover I just can't get on with the idea of her potentially being romantically involved with the kids she raised.)

I really enjoy this series, it's a nice change of pace in a sea of rehashed rofans. A lot of comments are asking "why"---why-this, why-that, but for me this series is less about the why, and more about the process and feelings that led Lihen to make these decisions, and how she feels about it during and afterwards. She got to relive her youth, much to her disbelief. Unlike other series, she was not necessarily trying to change her future, but rather was just simply curious to explore chances she wouldn't have before. Her agony, uncertainty, regrets, love and loneliness are expressed so readily even during what may become a regretable decision, and I don't see it as annoying or pathetic.
The Duke of Sagna's confession was beautiful and thoughtful. He truly is trying his best to understand her.
whoever tagged this, it is most definitely not josei, lol...
