I'll never hate this story. It has it's shortcomings but it stays true to the fact that love triangles are messy asf. While reading this I truly didn't expect some fair end cz love even in real life love is bias and unfair. I felt bad for Cain but he decided to be a willing victim, he could've always walked away cz he knew the entire time Jooin didn't love him and he didn't and that's largely on him. I love that Yahwi even after years of being apart from Jooin and even when he is assured of Jooins love he still doesn't forget how horrible he was to Jooin. He'll always have to live with the guilt and regret and that's the reality of a genuine apology. He needs that to never slip back to his old nasty ways.


Seeing how the new story of the artist and creator has ended. I'm hoping they'll start working on the side stories. I want side stories that focus on Yahwi and Jooin, let the love triangle shit stay buried please. I do also hope Cain gets the sparkling baby treatment. I would want to see him find and accept love when he's healed. I know it might be messy but I want to see him find a love so pure that he regrets loving Jooin so blindly. I want the new love to fill him with joy and happiness that his whole perspective of life changes and it feels like he's been born again. I know it's wishful thinking but I hated how he pined over a man that was just using him.

Kim Dan wanting a break from life is unfortunately sad but understandable. In this chapter he expresses his loneliness after potato and heesung because he does yearn for affection outside of his grandmother ( explains how he even fell for asshat jk in the first place) but he just doesn't know how create these bonds outside her without feeling guilty cz the woman gave her old age to him.

Side not I'm glad heesung didn't even think of making moves on Dan. I hate that people were insinuating that that would be a thing again after it being buried so long ago.

I don't know why manhwas write second love interests like this. Why are they always trying to get with someone in love with someone else??? Nearly all them know they stand to ruin their connection with the MC entirely and still confess a love that will never be reciprocated. Like brother stand down!!! The MC will always favour the ml, the person they love, and they end up brutally cut from the love and even little connection they desired. Second leads that lack patience just set themselves up for failure like it's your dumbass that lead you to liking someone who you can't have deal with the consequences.

Ml is kinda annoying but MC knew what he signed up for dating and loving a crybaby.
