I don’t know to much but I can tell you why he is trash to me. When he first talked to her in the beginning of the webtoon, I guess he felt some type of guilt that he hasn’t had anytime with her, or cared about her. I don’t know what he said exactly but he but he made it seem like he was gonna pay attention to her and care for her now since he knew about her illness. That made me pity him a little I was feeling good about him. But as you know he never came or anything until she passed out for 3 days. She has passed out before but he is only showing interest now. Come on I thought he said he was going to do better than this.
Maybe I came off to strongly but, I can only pity him I can’t like him. He is just off.
He isn’t that bad so far maybe I’m being to hard on him.

the emperor wasn’t that bad. i mean yes he was a horrible father for neglecting libertia, but throughout this story, i don’t think he is that relevant. it is true that the crown prince will come to like litia (not in a romantic way). he will consider her as one of his ppl and also bc litia will help him be w ariel. also, the original libertia and this current litia are really twins. the mc’s name as libertia’s sister is alicia. she died when they young i think? bc their maternal uncle has been experimenting on them (heard he’s the real villain)

Okay I can’t find the comment but someone asked why do we hate this guy and not Claude when he did the same thing? Yes, Claude did kill Athy and neglect her the first time just like this is guy... but he supposedly used magic so he wouldn’t feel feelings or remember Athys mother Dianna.
Also there was this scene when athy is 5 and Claude said to felix that one more year and he would have forgotten that wenchs face (athys mother dianna) so by the time she 9 he would have been forgotten dianna.
Therefore why would he have though of her as his daughter if he didn’t even remember she was born from someone he used to love. Anyways Claude is a good father and genuinely loves his daughter.
