Didn’t think of it like that but you do have a point. Her goal is to survive and by associating with Ricardo she is putting herself in danger. The more I think about it, it makes sense to break it off with him but it still feels incredibly dumb. Especially since she still has feelings for him so it’s giving “the original story must go on!” while she proceeds to do a whole 180 to her villainess story. But regardless, the story progression is unsatisfactory (to me). Sorry for yapping away.

Fuckin hell, the art is gorgeous and the plot is abominable. Who the hell looks at the cover art and thinks that this a romantic story. It deadass looks like a mother proudly teaching her son. I wouldn’t have even guessed if I didn’t look at the comments. These freaking weirdo authors keep doing this same boring ass plot and i just don’t understand the appeal.
