i'm actually kinda sad about the quirky little Dark Crafter guy dying... he was a fun whimsical character and reminds me of Dobby... It's really sweet and sad that he sacrificed himself to save MC.
ok so I actually thought MC was pissed because hero boy fought the demons on his own and he could have missed out on their demon energy, but it turns out he was actually pissed that hero boy got himself super injured and almost died.

Amazonian island name was taken from Greek myth not dc comics
obviously (Amazons were from Greek Myths first), but it being an "modern" all-girls magic school fits more with Wonder Woman and DC comics

interesting that Ian is the one going through the balcony now to see Heron when Lorkan was the one who used to go through the window to see Brian. i just hope Ian is able to figure things out and make the correct choice here and doesn't allow himself to become more confused.
if we had more than one chapter than i would've liked the story to explore more about why the tinkerer seems to be the only flesh and blood being in this town of dolls.
