See, I get what the author was going for... and I'm really into the idea, but personally, it just didn't gel together for me. I was quite excited when the cuffs were introduced because I though that this was going to be lead down an unexpected path of possessiveness and I'm down for that, but then it just didn't... the cuffs were taken off in what seemed to be a couple of hours, and they were taken off in a very nonchalant way that contradicted the original desire for them to be on. And the seme's character felt a bit choppy too. I normally love the stoic seme with a secret dark side, but I just don't think the author committed 100% leaving him to be a bit wishy washy. All in all I didn't mind this but I think I'd have liked it more as it's own story, not as a side story... With the original story being nothing like this I don't think the two compliment each other, if this was a stand alone and if the author committed then I'd be much more into it.

I like this couple, and I like how they began at a twisted start. The only problem I have with this manga is that it's not long enough and you don't really see how their relationship develops beyond that which is why I assume some people are finding this too dark. Reading the doujinshi afterwards is a really great ending to this story and I think it should even be included in the actual main stories chapters because it really shows that their relationship can move past their beginning and that the Senpai is actually really in love with him.

Okay I love this, but I reeeeaaallly wanted the older brother to become more flustered. My favourite scene of him was after he ran down the stairs, because it broke his cool calm character. One of my favourite tropes is the cool collected character becoming flustered in the face of someone they like and I really wish we had more scenes of older bother being flustered by MC, or even more chapters at the end in older brothers POV.
