I liked this story, I really did, but something about that ending left me very unsatisfied and I can't explain why...
I love this and I'm really happy with how it turned out, but it makes me sad that things were never (shown) to be resolved with the clock maker. I wish we could've seen him one last time ╥﹏╥
I hate to say this but I actually like Subaru better, both his appearance and his manner. I'd like to have this exact same manga but as a pick-a-path so I could choose Subaru's route. I like Azusa too, but I just love Subaru the liiiitle bit extra ٩(๑❛ᴗ❛๑)۶
See, I actually like Ikumi. He has that quietly protective aura that I love!
But, I can't help but hate the chapters when other men show up and Chii falls for them only for them to turn out to be ~Shock! Horror! monsters of men themselves. Like, if a man showed interest in her and wasn't an awful person how would her love with Ikumi survive? To me it seems as though she's just emotionally conditioned to respond positively to any small amount of kindness shown to her.
I don't know, I guess what I'm trying to say is that I wish there was a serious love rival and Chii herself PICKS Ikumi on her own showing that she actually prefers him and likes him instead of just settling for him because every other guy is ~evil~.
So I loved Rina in chp1 and was really interested in this 'front' people had given her about being cool and the contrast to her actual shy character. But then she never evolved. She has no other characteristics other than being shy and timid. I can't imagine her and (love interest that I forgot the name of but I love him so rip) having a proper conversation. Like?? What do they have in common?? Rina's character devolved into a stuttering stammering mess and she literally has no other personality besides that.
I kept reading through this whole thing hoping it would get better but it really doesn't.
Thats true but i still come back to see if the mangaka lets her character evolve, i mean like grow up. I guess this is josei fluffy but too much fluffffff thats its loosing its value for me....... shes already lost her V so what the heck does she always blushhhhhhhhh like an elementary kid everytime and her decisions are like a JK without experience...... shes a beautiful fool without brain
Oh my god, so true. 1 year anniversary and she still acts that way, timid, like a child, over shy and so on.
1 year is 365 days to get to know each other, get used to one another. I dislike Mangas who don't know what Time is and how it works.
I like the Manga, it's cute but it got boring.

Omg I was literally thinking the exact same thing as I was reading the chapter. It seems like there isn't any character development and all.
So I know this is going to be a really unpopular opinion based off the comments so far... but I really don't care about the fox character? Like... nothing about him is cool/unique/ or interesting to me. I know everyone else loves him and thinks hes a cutie, but hes the only character in this whole story so far that I just cannot bring myself to care about.
I end up skimming over most of his scenes bc I just don't care. I feel like the author is trying just a bit too hard to make me feel bad for him and it's having the opposite effect. ┗( T﹏T )┛
When he was first introduced and now knowing his back story, he kind of remind me of the the dude who was Saliphie's childhood friend. Maybe like animal form.
Is it bad that I actually really like the enemy king and his wife? I know a lot of the /bad guys/ in Akatsuki no Yona become at least reluctant allies and I really want these two to become that. The king fighting with Hak was just so funny and the queen sticking up for Yona at the end? I really liked that.
I hope we see more of them as moral dubious allies in the future
I thought their fight was truly hilarious, and if they do end up as allies, it would be a big plus for Yona to have an influential and powerful chief on her side. It would force Soo-Won (and that jerkwad Kye-Sook) to acknowledge her if they want to march over Kai eventually. The people of the Tully tribe seem to venerate strength and they have a female war deity, so I'm having visions of Yona pulling some really badass stunt and this people rallying for her the same way the Fire Tribe is (≧∀≦)ヾ(☆▽☆)
I'm pretty sure that Jaeha and Zeno are going to lose the fights on purpose and sacrifice themselves! Noooooo!!! I was thinking Suwon would show up and help and maybe fulfill this 'sword and shield' prophecy but the more i read the more hope I lose
I love how there's always (mostly) a bit of humility with the villains, like I want to hate this guy - and I do - but in a way you want him to come to his senses and work on destroying the Kai Empire or such, and not be the bad guy. Also I'm reeeeaaaly hoping we'll get to see Suwon soon (๑•ㅂ•)و✧
I love these types of stories SO MUCH, but I really kinda wished the King would get more involved... Like, even if he is the crown prince, theres no way his father - the King - would allow him to make a spectial like that, insult a nobleman's family, and accept this sham of a fiance. Like, in actuality that girl would probably be imprisoned for acting that way to a noblewoman above her rank and also a prince (all whilst in the Kings presence), nevermind the King actually allowing their engagement or marriage. Like... I know this is all a story, but some things like that make me sigh...
That's what I was thinking. Do you really think a king would give up a Duke's daughter groomed since childhood to be the future queen for an Earl's daughter that doesn't have the slightest bit of etiquette and manners?
He has no choice...his son just embarrassed her in front of everyone... then ...his new daughter
in-law just insulted a visiting crown Prince... he doesn't want a war since aqua's country is bigger...
