So I think Tanned Uke and his step brother are prob arranged to mate by the family but when they were younger he ran off with Hwa and marked him ( in this case I think they both marked each other or soemthing) so the elders erased their memories
But they managed to find each other again at university
And I think the step brother is pissed off becoz he smelled Hwa’a pheromones or marking after they fucked last night

I think the author might have realized the slightly “rapey” feel of the beginning was not very cool but it was too late to change it all up so she/he prob decided to redeem it as much as possible.

The “drunk pregnancy” joke is usually used in movies to have a “haha omg” type of reaction on the audience. I remember watching a comedy movie about a girl finding out she was pregnant after a party and went on a journey to find the dad.
Yes it might sound a bit weird and rapey for some nonAsian ppl but some of the jokes in Asia may be pretty insensitive and I dun blame them for them tbh.
We progress slower in some parts like these than western countries.
We still have some conservative ppl who may not be able to accept LGBTQ community here but that doesn’t mean they are bad ppl.
What I mean is that they are caused by ignorance and different upbringings and we need to know that this manga had a pretty bad beginning as an insensitive joke and I see the author was trying to redeem it as possible. So please take time to read and understand the character better and not just post super hateful comment about an fictional character or the author
