Y'all are ruthless. We know that 1. Matt was drugged on something DANGEROUS without his consent, 2. He fully believes he's dreaming so he doesn't know what he's doing is genuinely hurting Jin and had consequences and 3. he would NEVER do this sober. People are allowed to have dark thoughts here and there but it's their ability to keep them in check and make sure they treat people with decency, which he has any time he has been in control of himself. Even Jin acknowledges that it's not like him at all to do this and he even cares to not make him feel worse about all of it when he becomes sober because he understands what a shitty situation it is. Rape is rape and it's horrible but Jin is actively trying to avoid hurting him for a reason and he is a victim too.
FINALLY! This is what i'm tryna say. This is what most people don't understand. Like, obviously we hate the fact that Jin is in absolutely excruciating agony, but he accepted his fate, he knew what he was in for and he's experienced it before. Matthew is literally in his dream world and as you said, people are allowed to have their dark thoughts and manage to keep them to their selves when they're sober and conscious. Matthew isn't is that conscious OR sober state, he's completely gone within his own mind and when he 'wakes up' hell be completely mortified of what he's done, hell be engulfed in his regret and Jin will in fact make him pay so either way, Matthew will pay the price from both sides.
I do find the rape scenes really excessive, and that's coming from someone who usually has no issue with darker themes in fiction...but I just wonder if they're included because the author wants to show how crazy thw difference is between those monsters and Yona. I guess it's also like...this story shows how ugly and horrible and distressing his life is, and I've heard of authors that convey that distress and discomfort by not shielding the readers from it either... idunno. I think it's still a very good piece of work and will keep reading even though it hurts.
I think he just means he's not sure what the future holds since he's diving into something without any certainty that it'll work out, ya know? Like...he's taking a risk. He just said that he adored him and that he was being grounded by him, so I'm sure that he meant he's not at all sure that it's clearest or most secure path, but he's taking it.
MC is actually a very good and straightforward person, he's not the type to run away or cause drama.
I'm still on his side. That situation was SUPER compromising and they've been acting extremely suspicious + the set up was perfect for this level of a misconception. Being betrayed by someone you care about that much and have grown up with hurts 1000x more so I don't think his reaction was unjustified.
Your partner hanging out a lot with your best friend out of no where without you, being vague about details (on purpose, since he was trying to make him jealous and angry btw), and then you find them together like that... even in a secure relationship, you're allowed to have doubts when someone is acting strangely
Yeah but there are other reasons maybe your partner wants to do something nice for you in which your best friend would have details about it and if it's a surprise you would be vague about it. Again that's not what's happening here but there are multiple other reasons for a situation like this cheating is only the first thought of someone that doesn't have trust in the relationship.
This has been extremely political from the start, but I can tell a lot of y'all are American because you're barely recognizing that now thay democracy is being introduced
i don't even know the romance has been like an additional factor to the over all political agenda. like bruh thier marriage and problems with being together nad shin's whole doubt and worries started cause of the political aspects of public's views and expectations from monarchy so ye idk what happened

He's finally losing it :<<
