It was a funny and good manga overall, and it just felt so realistic all the way through– and that includes the sex scene. It was extremely awkward, confusing, not entirely consensual, and they weren't just pros from the start despite not knowing anything about it.
Of course, there should always always be consent, but realistically, when you're going it for the first time in highschool and when you've never had a romantic partner to have learned boundaries with, it happens too often.
Holy crap this was SO cute!! And hilarious, I found myself smiling so much ;~; I wish it was longer or the side couple had their own spin off so we could see their domestic life, they were precious. The world is also very interesting and I feel like there's a lot they could build off ahhh I loved it!
Look, I know she's innocent and sweet and blah blah blah so don't come at me and try to say that I just just sympathize or understand her, this isn't the case. But a lot of y'all are getting so angry that people dislike or blame Jeannette when clearly she's not the real villain and you don't get it, but like I said to someone else who complained that people simped over the real villain, there's a difference. Ima say what i responded to this person here: black haired dude is the actual villain. He's SUPPOSED to be toxic and evil, that's what a villain is. You can love a good villain because there's a different set of things expected of them– it's why people love Darth Vader or Harley Quinn even though they're the bad guys. You know they're bad, so now you assess their personalities and how good they are at being bad. The difference between that and Jeannette is that 1. Jeannette is an extremely boring and shallow character, and 2. Her being sheltered and naive defines her entire personality and it's directly hurting the two main characters that we all love most. The way she was raised is not her fault, but she's incredibly dense even considering that. This may be Athy's second life but she never grew too old or experienced so much that she's have that strong of an advantage, it's her own strong personality and cunning nature that got her to where she was, and we all appreciate that about her. Jeannette is only sweet and only helpless and it honestly just got so old. It went past cute or something we all feel bad for a long time ago after her super boring arc where she just kept messing things up and hurting people, even if unintentionally. Yes, it's sad that she's just a tool, but that doesn't make it okay.
What are you talking about I don't support the black-haired guy I don't I'm just saying that I don't like how Jeanette acts in her personality even if it's not her fault I don't like what she's done who she is just Jeanette is Jeanette and I don't like it so that's that's that's the only thing I meant I meant nothing other than the fact that I will always just like Jeanette because she stole athy role and she didn't mean to but I don't care I only live for athy
That’s the thing tho. I honestly don’t know how she’d be later but if she had gotten the right treatment and social interaction without manipulation from any dumb adult like white haired dog or black hair mf, it properly wouldn’t had gotten this bad. What if they had just let her socialize more. I don’t think she deserve this much hate atm. I really didn’t mean to come off that strong. Plus I feel like wishing for her death is really unnecessary
Well first off, I gotta say that I never said I liked black haired dude, just that other people do and they do for a reason. I think he has to be intelligent to have gotten to where he is, but clearly had a lot of trauma growing up as well, so honestly, he's just not right in the head. Still, I don't like him or support him, so please don't pop off like that or attack my morals like you did on your own comment thread based off of what I chose as my profile pic. Honestly, I didn't want to respond because you went so far off on your own that I didn't think I'd be able to reason with you.
I don't blame Jeanette for being a kid, but she is partly responsible for a lot of what's going on. Ezekiel is hardly older and he grew up with her and is also out of the loop but even he has some sense of awareness. She's a teenager, not a child, and she should be at a stage mentally where she can start to think for herself, but she doesn't. Someone else said something really true- you can't blame a snake for being venomous, but that doesn't mean you should sit there and wait for it to bite. Whether or not she means to, she is toxic, and that's undeniable. No, she's not the real villain, but she's allowing him to do what he wants. If she had a better or more interesting personality, was even just a little smarter, or was a little less self-centered, then everyone else would probably like her more despite what's happening. But she's not.
You see now I understand that. It's just the way you originally commented seems as though you were giving off a reason to like the black hair dude. I understand Jeanette being too innocent but my main point was the fact that people hate on her while they blatantly ignores the actual villain calling him "hot". The way people easily tell her to kill herself also really pissed me off. It feels as though people were putting the whole blame on her which I thought was stupid as fuck. I'm sorry about commenting on your profile since I was just heated at that moment. I still agree with the fact that she should have some more sense of awareness but I feel like its still mainly not her fault. Claude was the one who calls her over first and the black haired guy just used that shit to his advantage. I really don't think she should be blamed this much, she just grew up in a manipulative and very sheltered environment and was never really able to feel familial love. She genuinely wanted a family and had always been nice to Anastasia, as of now I don't think she has any bad intention and it sucks that she's being hated on this much. I'm sorry if I sound rude again
It's alright, I get that this story gives us all some really strong feelings. Honestly a lot of us want her to die just because it'd make life a whole lot easier for athy and Claude rather than genuine hate, especially considering it was Jeannette's existence that got Athy killed in her first life to begin with. If I'm being completely honest, I had hoped they'd just let her drown that one time she fell off the boat because I was so upset that she seemed to be trying to take Athy's spot again– I understand that she just wanted a family, but she was so self-centered and inconsiderate of Athy in the process so it was frustrating to have to read. I do agree that it's pretty stupid that people can throw all their hate on her and then turn around and act like the actual villain isn't behind it all, though.
I never personally said Jeanette was a villain but I believe she could have been better as a person herself awareness is really nonexistent and her naivety is just unbelievable I don't think it's right for me to lash out on a child's but it makes it hard for me when she's just like this. only person I ever said was the villain was black-haired guy so nothing else in that
If you're younger than 18 years old, get off of a site whose content is primarily pornographic, and if you won't get off, at the very least keep your opinions to yourself. You're not mature enough to be reading this stuff if you can't separate fiction and reality and no one wants the opinion of someone who shouldn't have been reading it to begin with.
This story is Shounen Ai. Either here or any other place, this story would not be behind a 18+ door or flag. BL stories are not mature by default. Yaoi may be but not Shounen Ai.
I don't think also the main point is for people who can't tell the difference between fiction and reality. For those who can, clearly the relationship is abusive in reality but acceptable under the fictional trope of dominant seme/tamed uke.
Let the discussion go because out of all the 'fiction can influence what readers think is normal', the Shounen Ai who are aimed at young audience --- like 19 Days --- is propably the one that is relevant.
If you are an adult who knows Tianshan portrays non consensual and abusive relationship, the discussion shouldn't bother you since you are not the audience who clearly argues that what they are seeing is not what would be sexual abuse in real life.
"If you are an adult who knows Tianshan portrays non consensual and abusive relationship, the discussion shouldn't bother you since you are not the audience who clearly argues that what they are seeing is not what would be sexual abuse in real life." what? wording is kind of jumbly - what are you saying?
Also to y'all getting triggered...
Mo really is a huge tsundere, and you can see over and over that it always looks like boundaries are getting pushed and he doesn't want it, but he actually does. He even gets upset and takes initiative when he's told that he'll be left alone. He has some hardcore feelings but has no idea how to express them

I ship both but tbh thus was coming for a long time and yuna is a bad bish who deserves a decisive man
