I haven't read the novel but I'm starting to dislike the mc too. Even though her embroidery teacher (Sarah?) is so nice to her she's being so @*#$*! Like I get it that you should use things to your advantage but, she's going over that. She seems to take pleasure in deceiving people, and doesn't really care about treating them for who she/he is. She only cares on what they'll be in the future. Like at least show some appreciation for the people who actually are helping you. She's getting way to self conceited, it's actually disgusting. ╥﹏╥

She, at first, really use anyone and does not care but as the story progresses..... She actually cares for the people to whom she could trust with but they are too few to be noticed. Her maid and the Marchioness, Sarah... She did not directly use them for her schemes

That might just be the unique part of this story, but I think it’s taken a little too far. Yes, as you said, the other mcs in stories similar to this are portrayed as perfect, but this character is simply using the people around her like tools. She doesn’t show a true inkling of kindness, even to people who think of her as an “angel”. That’s what makes her so unappealing. In my opinion, it would’ve been better if she gradually becomes a better person through this second chance, but instead decides to take revenge like a little spoiled girl with a grudge. I really liked the idea and the art style of this manhwa so it’s hard to let it go but I just cannot stand the FL.
I read the light novel and I couldn’t continue- the main character is way too unlikable and manipulative, I’ll probably drop the manhwa as well.
