I agree it's uncomfortable but I feel like we forget their just kids, he really never saw her as a mom in the previous and present he just says mom to her when she needs to be defended from other nobles. Also he never really interacted with a girl as much as shuri. Still weird tho lol
I honestly don’t even think Jeremy has romantic feelings for her. It always felt more like the love he has for her is rooted in appreciation and gratitude for everything she has sacrificed for him and his siblings. If anything I would say that in his past life he felt the same way but didn’t know how to properly express it.
That’s true I’ve been kind of conflicted bc it’s not his fault or anything he’s just being a guy like I’m pretty sure he and Nora are the same age even… but manhwas have a history with stepbrothers/sisters and I’m too used to amazing stories being ruined by that type of plot This one seems pretty down to earth tho

Also in their first life he doesn’t fall in love with any other girl and he does seem to rly care about Shuri. I just think that any potential budding feelings he has for her he’s gonna push away in favor of the son/brotherly role.
