Bad adaptation, just reading 5 chapters I can already see that the manhwa doesn't capture Zeke's image from the novel. (╯°Д °)╯╧╧ The scenes were made like MC's someone who's secretly kind behind a facade but that's NO. MC is a twisted person ,his kindness is not from conscience or a persona but what others should consider as kind acts. For example "there's bad guy so beating him to a pulp must be kindness" kind of thing.
He's just doing kind acts as a way to live a different life from being a demon king so he referred to the hero's words in past life just to try but no feeling at all.His twisted satisfaction in beating up bad guys and getting rewarded for it makes him think it is his calling to beat up bad guys because of his talent for destroying things as it is also an "act of kindness".
MC isn't someone who will give life advice for fcks sake like he has some attachment for the family. He will beat someone and thinks he's doing them a favor.

MC was a demon king being a jerk is kind of his thing but doing a bizarre thing such as doing act of kindness while being a jerk is what makes him fun. He just want to try a different life when he tried to do kind acts first, of course that might change as he grows.
Helping the child is just a whim but I think he feel angry about his action being trampled + his disgust with the cult.
Manhwas with generic art style (the artsyle that looks good on the outside but actually soulless) are mostly bad. The flow of the story is abrupt many interesting detail are gone with the adaptation.

well i mean at first he didn't know what to do and treated their marriage like business thinking mr. demon king also like that but he was wrong. after that he started to fall in love with mr. demon king and stopped going out with any girl for a month and then now he's devoted to mr. demon king.

The thing is i thought that their relationship was one where Hero fell in love with MC at the start of their marriage life based on their lovey dovey relationship in 1st ch. at the very least I never thought hero would be a playboy sleeping with multiple women while avoiding MC judging from his sunny personality in ch 1. I hope this stays pure till the end. Most BL tends to add 3rd parties to add drama which I tend to hate and I like that there was no unnecessary realization from straight to gay and just straight up fall in love with no worries. This is my most ideal couple should be.

For those who's wondering it's no romance.
Though there's unnecessary scene where one of MCs knight is a girl pretending to be male to be a knight and later returns home which is a famous family had a competition with the prize of marrying the daughter(MCs knight) without her consent so MC suggest she go fight herself in the competition but the knight says why don't MC himself fight which puzzled MC.(Basically the knight asking to fight for her to be a husband)
Anyway, what I mean to say is while it's NO ROMANCE there is unnecessary scenes (a couple of sparse sentences) which delusional characters (female knight and her father) thinking they're perfect couple. I didn't find it funny at all and just disgusted with those two when there wasn't even hint of MC having intimate interaction with female knight other than as a subordinate. It was totally unnecessary just makes me feel bad for reading that part.

If it’s not grooming, it’s definitely still not good… like the guy was apparently genuinely interested in the main character when the main character was a child and the ML was apparently either a teenager or an adult, and he’s never stopped having these feelings. I will say though, I can’t help but notice how the main character mentioned having someone they hung out with when the MC was in middle schools and I’m pretty sure that it’ll end up being the ML. If this is the case, then I’m fairly sure it’ll end up being something grooming adjacent
