Man the only thing I don’t like is Chihiro going to the rival(?) dude. It’s probably because I think too much while reading, and always applying my own common sense to it. But I know most yaoi uke’s have rose tinted glasses and somehow he’s gonna make the two buddies or something.
In my mind It would’ve been a red flag when a boy starts calling out my coworker like he wants a fight, starts saying degrading things to him, and literally my coworker feels uneasy about said dude lmao. Since I’m always thinking instead of enjoying the dam manga, I just can’t understand Chihiro’s thinking process . “Ah yes, I want to know more about Arata. I’ll ask this guy that hates his guts instead of Arata himself, it’s not like we’re getting closer to each other and I’m invited to his house pshhh. Really tho I try to find one that’s more plot than,, uh action? Lmao. But it’s hard to find a decent one to even read all the way through. You don’t know how many manga I dropped because the plot revolves around the uke getting raped, or the uke literally getting mentally abused but everything is fine with the power of love and a handsome face . Or it’s just straight up cringe and just fetishized gay men, like it gives me second hand embarrassment.
I know right like why is rape justified because of love it’s still rape even when the perpetrator is someone handsome.That just something I never got when I started reading Yaoi but it was just accepted like totally normal to move the storyline. That’s one reason I don’t like reading omagverse manga cause I know some stories heavily rely on the uke being rape.
Man, i forgot what my first omega verse was. But I remember it being a pretty decent and cute story. Nothing about “omega gets his heat, then he’s raped by a handsome ceo. But everything in the end works out cause he’s rich and the omega should be happy he’s marked by a guy hundreds of people want”
I’m still rather surprised how so many manga justified what ever the seme (most of the time) or the uke did to each other, cause it was ‘out of love’. I saw many manga that I think is gonna end up with a good end, just for me to be slightly dissatisfied. That being the uke leaves the seme. But they always gotta do a twist of them meeting each other years later. The part I don’t like, is somehow the blame gets shifted over to them??? So they feel guilty and apologize instead, then they end up together omg

When you get completely taken back at how the director is acting because he’s way to kind and considerate. But then you realize he’s just a normal person with basic human manners.

It really is, I was so worried that it would be a cliche twist. Usually after a night together, and the uke runs up to the director/ ceo and say how happy they are, they either get yelled at or a big problem happens because they don’t communicate. So I’m happy the director was like “lol no, it’s aight”
